My son did contact me!

Yes it is true! My son did finally contact me! He sent me a message on Facebook. He told me he hasn't been ignoreing me! He told me he is pretty busy! I know he is!He is going to tech college,works,has a girlfriend and his family. He also told me he wants time to let what I told him to sink in! I e-mailed back and said no problem! I have waited 19 years to meet him and I can wait longer!

Congratulations to you! You are a happy father now. What you have experienced is what I'm now proceeding. But I just take on the role of your son. I'm now 23 years old, I just say very little words to my father in the past five years. At first, I hate him very much, because he accused me of stealing family money without any evidence. What's more, he has many bad habits, smoke, gamble, even hurt my mother sometimes. I really can't stand them, so I just want to keep distance with him. Now, he has attained the age of fifty, I can find white hair and wrinkle in his body, I suddenly feel guilty, however, I still can't forgive what he has done. So I and my father still like the so-called " the most familiar strangers". I don't konw what will happen in the future, maybe you can give me some suggestions.

I like to clear somrthing up before I comment on your post. I AM A WOMEN NOT A MAN OR A FATHER! bluepacker careful there I know how you feel as my user name is also misleading. I too am a woman, as I try to make evident when
I speak of my deceased husband. but mylot admins gave you a break here, usually when you insult a fellow mylotter mylot admins just deletes the comment so you got off easy. I get pissed too but insulting the pisser offer could get yourcomment deleted. take care.

you.This must have made you feel better. So he is working,
and going to college, and has a girlfriend. that sounds
good.This must have been hard for you and probably for
him also but its great that he finally did contact you.

Thanks for the response! I have not meet my son yet but I do know alot about him! He does have a girlfriend. He has a job at a grocery store. He is attending techinal college. It has been hard on me and him too! I have told him alot of why I gave him up for adoption. He wanted time for all this to sink in. I am. I hope he'll contact me in the near future! Until then I'll try and be patient!
