Invisibility Cloak, real or not?

I think there is no such thing tahnk can makes someone invisible. Maybe that

jacket is just designed to adopt the color of the environment but it won't really

make you invisible. I think it just copy what does a chameleon do whenever its in

danger.But if someday someone can discover how to be invisible well that would be

one of the greatest invention.

I've seen the video and read an article about that camouflage jacket. It doesn't work yet in regular situations because it needs some special projector projecting light on it in order to work. But I believe they'll menage to create a real invisibility clock in a near future.

An invisibility cloak is physically possible. The most likely way one would work would be to bend the light hitting the cloak around it, so it is not illuminated, and therefore appears not to exist to whoever is viewing the cloak (seeing as that what one sees is really just the reflection of light carrying information, so if the light simply went around an object, it would appear to not be there). I don't remember the exact justification, but I remember reading in the book Physics of the Impossible, by Michio Kaku, that it is somehow possible to bend light around an object, it just requires a tremendous amount of energy.
