I've read and heard many things about global warming, however, evidence where I am living at the present would suggest an ice age is more likely to arrive first. We are into the second month of spring, and the temperatures for the first were well below average. We had snow down to 900 metres today, and that's rare. It is soo cold here in central Victoria, Australia, it feels like summer is a million years away. What's it like where you live?

Hello my friend
This is scary but the weather her is not as it should be as well, its october and its still somewhat warm, usually when the kids are back in school its gets cooler and stays that way, not lately sometimes you can wear a small jacket or even a sweater and be fine, something is not right somewhere, and it really scares me that things will actually get worse, I love cool air and I can't handle warm weather too much, I still have my window open with the fan
really weird my friend.
Thank you for sharing this.

Hey kitty, is sounds like the traditional four seasons could be moving backwards a fraction, with summer drawing out in the northern hemisphere, and winter doing likewise down under. I will be interested to see what our weather is like in March and April, next year. Thank you for your input, and take care. Mike.

It is the same here in W.A. it is not as warm as it should be at this time of year and we have had a lot of rain which was welcome because of the droughts but it’s got to the point now that we are sick of it and just wish for summer to come along.
The last few days have been sunny and lovely and I am praying that it is finally warming up but...Don’t know...

Hi paula, we have had a lot of welcome rain here, and for the first time in years the water levels in the catchment areas is on the rise. But this cold weather is bad news for me, and makes my desire to get back to Thailand more pressing. Take care. Mike.

I am from Philippines and we have just encountered weired cases of typhoon. First, we had typhoon Ondoy. They typhoon wasn't really that strong. The continuous rainfall flooded the Manila region.
A week after another storm came. It lasted for a week. This is the first time I've heard of typhoonn that lasted a week. The reason being is because another typhoon is stopping him from moving.
Oh man! Weird things happening lately. We have to be on our toes all the time. In fact, it's about time we correct our wrong acts. Nature is getting back at the us.

Hi ip, I think you may be right, nature is getting back at us, the only way it knows. Man can control most things that happen in the world today, but nature always has the last say. Thank you for adding to the discussion.

I don't think even the experts can explain what is happening to the weather, and all the abnormel natural disasters around the world. Thanks for your response.

Hi,mipen,The main reason for this is deforestation and pollution.Apart from this usage of plastic also increasing the temperature and irregular changes in weather.Due to this seasons also effected. To over come this do plantations, use biodiesel, stop using plastic. As i am a consultant for plantations useful for extracting biodiesel.

Hello Baluydav, I understand whet you're saying about deforestation, and pollution, but I can't see how relevant that is to earthquakes and typhoons. Thanks for your input.

Here in the Philippines, aside from the regular storms and typhoon, everything is pretty abnormal. We get rains during summer and temperatures ranging from 30- 34 degrees centigrade during rainy season in this past two years

Hi hexeduser, I can't explain the weather patterns around the world, and I think even the experts are confussed. Maybe God is angry with us. Thanks for responding.

No, I think not. God is not angry with us, it's just we are now facing the consequences of what our ancestors and the rest of us did to human nature. We are now experiencing this things globally because of our negligence and irresponsibility towards nature.
