How many languages can you speak and write??

I can speak three languages, telugu,tamil,and english.

Fluently I can only speak and write English

All the other lanaguagues I know a little, some to be able to converse at bit, others just enough to greet and say goodbye.

I would like to be proficient in more languages.

I am not learning any new language as a course in school or learning institution. I can speak english and of course our native language. In our place we have a lot of dialect. There are tagalog, ilokano, kankanaey, ibanag, cebuano, ilonggo, ibaloi, ifugao, and other dialects. I think in our country, we have the most number of dialects reaching as high as a thousand.

I am an Indian and can speak and write only Indian languages other than English. The languages i can speak are English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali. I can manage to some extent Telugu and Gujrathi. I can read and write English, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam and Bengali. I am not in touch with bengali writing for a long time. I have always wished to learn French but did not get an opportunity.

English (my mother tongue - with a Northern English accent), French (my degree subject), German (I have lived here for eight years in total), some Dutch (I read it extremely well, I lived in Amsterdam for nine years), some Italian, and a few expressions in Thai (my wife's native language).

I speak and can write both English and French.

RUssian (speak, some writing and slow reading)
Swedish (speak, good writing and reading)
English (speak, good writing and reading but not too advanced)

I can only write and speak two languages, Tagalog ( or Filipino ) and English.. When I was growing up, I was really never taught of any other language. English is really the most taught here, because as they say, english is the language of business. hehehe. If i'm going to study other language, I would like to learn spanish, or french.. cause it's really intriguing..and it's nice to the ears.. when they speak.

Hai Shia88, I can thoroughly speak, read and write five languages i.e. English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Kannada. Malayalam and Urdu I can manage speaking. People call me pancha Bhasha praveena means talented in five languages. I am a freelance translator in all these languages.

I know two languages, my own language and English. I want to learn others dialect, like French, Spanish, Japanese and more. But it really needs a lot of money for it. I want also to learn the intonation of some english words and proper pronunciation. British accent is what i like.
