Not just for mornings anymore

That's funny, when I was growing up I HATED breakfast food. Now I will eat it for any meal. I mostly just eat Cheerios, but sometimes I eat different varieties of Cheerios.

I can't eat cereal in the mornings,lol funny eh? But as a late night snack? OH YEA! Right now my favorite is Boo Berry for Halloween up coming. But I like so many different ones and not just sugary ones but also like Basic 4 is a good one too.

I like oatmeal when it's cold outside but it really doesn't stick with me....for cold cereal I like cheerios'...any of the flavors they have but honey nut being my favorite.....I also love Life Cereal.

I love Cream of Wheat (is that like Wheatena, farina anyway?). I also like plain oatmeal - but not the flavored instant packets (too sweet!). Regular cereal . . . Puffins, GoLean or Heart to Heart (from Kashi), Trader Joe O's (practically the same as Cheerios), and Mighty Bites. As a kid, I loved the sugary ones . . . like Super Sugar Crisp, Corn Pops, Lucky Charms (oh those teeny dried up marshmallows!), Honeycomb, Chex, Rice Krispies, Alphabits, Frosted Flakes, or Fruity Pebbles. On the note about Captain Crunch . . . my hubby grew up eating that on top of ice cream!

Hiya gemini,My favourite is Shredded Wheat but they stopped selling that here ages ago. Porridge Oats is perhaps one of my real favourites specially when it´s cold.
I did like Special K is that what you call it where you are? But the last time I tried it I had to soak a plate of it in milk for at least a quarter of an hour because it was like eating bullets lol so now that has put me off them for a while.
Because of the economy I mainly have digestive biscuits for breakfast.

I have always LOVED breakfast food and I can eat 'em anytime of the day too. Here in the Philippines, the most common breakfast would be:

1. coffee or milk or hot chocolate or juice + bread
2. coffee or milk or hot chocolate or juice + fried/garlic rice + egg + bacon or hotdog or ham or dried fish
and my favorite breakfast, snack, quick fix
3. CEREALS.

My favorite cereals are:

1. Koko Krunch
2. Cap'n Crunch
3. Cheerios
4. Kellogs
5. Oreos
5. Fruit Loops.

I can share your enthusiasm for breakfast cereals, nutritious and convenient... just pour and go Although it saved on electricity by not cooking it was making me lazy!
Cocoa pebbles sonds nice, but being from Scotland U.K. your cereals are different but I liked sugar puffs and cocoa pops.. but glad I stopped eating them, too much sugar! I changed to healthier choices like wheetabix and porridge oats.

Honey Nut Cheerios is my all-time favorite but I can enjoy a lot of others such as Raisin Bran, Frosted Flakes and Frosted Mini-wheats. I like to eat the Honey Nut Cheerios and Frosted Mini-wheats right out of the box late at night for a snack when I crave something crunchy. The Honey Nut and the Mini-wheats also make great snacks for my grandchildren when they come to visit.

Hello We are all breakfast-ites in our house! We don't get wheatena or cocoa pebbles but I assume they are a similar type of cereal to our Cocoa Rocks and a few that are very close like that. We always have at least 5 boxes on the go, I prefer plain old Cornflakes or Weetabix but the kids will eat any, especially if they are chocolate flavoured! The only ones we don't eat is any type of museli ones as none of us like that.

I am so not a cereal lover at all. As a kid I hated cereal and still do. I hate lunch and dinner foods for breakfast and when I could get away with it.....skipped it all together. Oddly, all my girls love cereal. My 15 year old is a huge fan of cocoa puffs, cocoa krispies, captain crunch and fruity pebbles. She eats them each morning and also indulges them for snacks.
