What are your book and reading fetishes?

I'm not really a bookworm but I only read book which I think are interesting to read like angels & demons as well as Da vinci Code those controversial book.

Yeah I sometimes do a dogear on some of my books hehehe I am not really concern on my books. One of my book entitled Tuesday's with was a very nice book but when I was reading the book accidentally It was wet by my cup og coffee not my book is very fat and it's bulging but still I enjoy reading it. I also used bookmarks like when I'm eating a candy the wrapper will serve as my bookmark.

Hi Ella_1, I am, sorry to say, guilty of all the things you hate. I used to buy my books and I would be so careful about the spine but it would eventually get broken from everyone borrowing and reading them. I usually get my books from the library now and I dog-ear my pages. What's funny is that I make sure to un-dog-ear (I think that's a word) each time that I move on and that when the book is returned to the library it is dog-ear free. What drives me crazy is sometimes when I get a book from the library and I go to find my dog-ear, someone else forgot to smooth theirs out and I get confused about what I'm reading because I'm not on the right page. Other than that I don't like if someone in my family tries to read the book the same time I am. For example, if I put the book down and I go out, someone picks it up and starts to read it, and then I come home and they don't want to give the book up etc. That drives me crazy too.

I can't read a book that has had the cover torn off. I don't like for the spine to be broken (like yourself). If the cover of the book doesn't look interesting, I won't even turn the book over to see what it is about. I absolutely hate it when someone has read the book before me and written in it. I get that at the library all of the time.
