I like to eat food when I'm not happy, and I will buy many food around me if I felt depress. Why can't we eat food freely? It's enjoyful.

BCMike (3316) | 3 months ago | If it does, you are doing it wrong. I am type 2 diabetic and I thought I was going to be stuck in the world of bland. But I am finding that I can really enjoy foods. Just not all at once.
Starchy things like breads can be controlled allowing you to gorge yourself on other foods. And I do too.

purplealabaster (866) | 3 months ago | My "personal Chef" (also known as my brother - lol) is diabetic, and when I was pregnant I had to severely limit my sodium intake due to swelling and other complications. I thought it would be awful, but it really wasn't. We switched to sea salt, which not only has less sodium than regular salt but also a much stronger flavor so you don't need to use as much, and used other seasonings to flavor food. Even with the low sodium, diabetic diet, we still enjoyed really good food. My husband thought he was going to be suffering due to the dietary limitations, but he ended up putting on weight, because the food was so good.

I also have a dicky-doo. It's not as pronounced as it once was. I have gone from a size 50 to a loose 42. Along with other things, I am a type 2 diabetic and need to watch what I eat and the portions I eat. I can eat just about anything. Ju Jubes are a real naughty for me. And I love those things. My blood sugar will go nuts with a few of those...
But I can eat proteins just fine. Just can't have the carbs. So, I could enjoy a nice bacon cheese burger with a whole wheat bun maybe. Oh, and mine must be cooked all the way through. Americans have a desire to get poisoned with burger there. Steak Tartar is not going in my mouth. That's the American equivalent to sushi. YUCK!!
But I know what you mean about food. I don't smoke, drink or run around. So I substitute flavours for all them others. And I like my food.

Other than that, no, I have been blessed to not have to worry too much about weight but I really feel for those who do have that struggle. In some ways food addiction is worse than drugs or alcohol addiction because you CAN live without drugs and alcohol but you HAVE TO eat to stay alive!
I know you've got some stuff to deal with right now, so if the weight thing isn't troubling you too much at the moment I say deal with it later. However, if the weight thing starts to make you feel bad then it's time to look into ways to get a handle on it.
Personally, I always liked "big" men. I married a skinny guy and then fattened him up some. LOL Now he has a cholesterol problem so I'm trying to keep healthier food in the house.
I used to drink a lot in my 20s, and it created a lot of problems for me. I don't really drink at all now and haven't for years. Now that I have two kids and also sort of started working again, my drug of choice to deal with stress are Starburst candies, they sell them in packages of all red ones now and I am totally hooked.
Amazingly though, since I started my candy addiction, I have actually LOST weight for the first time in the two years that my post belly has been wrecking my self esteem and I actually FINALLY don't look pregnant anymore! (again, Yay me)

When things are a little better for you the problem may just take care of itself, but in the meantime, you can always just step up your physical activity to compensate for the extra calories (and not just "12 ounce curls") - "Jazzercise" to the fridge! LOL DO jumping jacks while waiting for that egg to fry, or something like that. Maybe walk a few laps around the couch before plopping down with a batch of brownies, you know?

Now, my third baby is 4 month old and I am back to my after-second-child weight. The worst part of it that the belly fat kind of "hanging" under my belly (looks like a little pouch) It is not too nice. I am getting pretty desperate and I know that the only way for me to lose weight is to shut my mouth and do weights, which is a little difficult with 3 kids.:(

It is also my problem I can't lose weight because I can't control my eating habits. Right now I'm really determine to lose weight because of my hormonal imbalance I don't want to experience menorrhagia again.

8. jb78000 (1786) | 3 months ago | i think if you do enough exercise you can probably eat what you like. mind you working off half a gallon of icecream might be pretty strenuous but since i guess that you can't eat while exercising (unless you fill up your water bottle with melted ice cream) it might work on two levels. i don't have a weight problem except when i'm ill and get too thin but i eat lots of garbage. during my teens it did go on as weight but not any longer. [smug rabbit buggers off]
