Computer CRASHED!!!!!!  |

 Well my friends & neighbors my computer has decided to crash on me. So i will be offline for a considerable amont of time. Am taking it in tomorrow,{friday] to be repaired. Try & be nice to each other while i am gone..Play good together, I still want everyone to be here when i get back.. This really cramps my style bigtime. Now i can catch up on some reading i've been wanting to do..Yippee...NOT...I shall miss ALL of you very much. I'll be back as soon as i can possibly be... So to make this into a great discussion, has your computer ever 'crashed' on you? If so, how long did it take for you to get back online?? Did you feel totally LOST without your computer???What did you do without your computer??? Catch up on crafts,reading,housework,yard work,gardening,etc.,etc.,etc.......Lori

It's never crashed, frozen, or gotten any kind of virus. Although truth be told, I don't use my computer everyday, and really wouldn't be all that upset if I had to go without it for a while. | |

then in july of this year we had router troubles, up graded to a new, more powerful router and then my poor old computer couldn't keep up any more, needed a 2 g port for the new antenna, and the old machine had only a couple of 1 g ports...

I got really lucky & found a guy that wiped it clean, so it is like a brand new computer & only charged me $65.00 & he worked on it for 2 days!! i will definitly use this guy again for all of my PC's needs.....Lori | |

I'm just glad that I have two computers here at home so if one crashes, I still have a backup. But I am more comfortable using my laptop. Even if it crash, I can call a technician to have it repair quick! Because that's me. I know a couple of troubleshooting steps in repairing computers unless if it's totally a hardware problem then I really need to take it to the repair shop. I think that probably I'll just read the books I have here since it's my first love before I had this computer. I've got some Dan Brown and John Grishm books that I have not read yet.:)
