Bad news

If I must choose, I choose to be the one telling the bad news. Because usually, the bad news is all about the receiver. And I hate bad news.. I think everyone does

hello mhii, good discussion, if it is possible I would choose none, but if I have to choose one, then I would prefer to be the one who tell the bad news, though have to tell the bad news is a bad news itself. I thnk the one who receive the bad news is always much more sadness than the one who tell the bad news!!

Hi,Eeriencing the sad news is common and some times invetible to every one of us,may be situations and seriousness of incident differ.But God given gift to us is forgetting the incidents and deth of incidents slowly.I too had shock when i informed that my mother died.But gradually the pain and seriouness is reducing.

i would rather be the teller of the bad news.nobody enjoys reveiving bad news.if we see others suffer,we feel sad for him.but if we ourselves suffer,that hurts.that's common.but i still wish that people will never got bad news .

Neither recipient nor giver you wanna personate i think, because both two role would make you upset, but if i were in that situation,the choice must be the same as you guys,nobody want to make bad news happend to their life. just pray no any unfortunate thing comes out

If I had to choose, I would wish to be the one telling the bad news. I certainly would feel sorry for the recipient and try to console that person, but I do not want to be the receiver of bad news under any circumstances. I am very soft hearted, and would feel some pain as the bearer of bad news, but once I had consoled the person, I could walk away and after a couple of days, my pain would have diminished.

I think you mean two options: the person telling bad news or receiving bad news. If I really can choose, I think the teller is better for me. You know, as many people upstairs said, nobody enjoys bad news. In another word, bad news always hurt its receivers. So even it's sure that we will involve in some bad news one day, we always pray for avoiding them.
In another side, as a person bringing bad news, it's also hard. You know the result, but you have to do it. And you can even see the hurt at once. It's really suffering, too.

Anyway, I encounter less and less situation like your discussion mentioned.
