Which one do you prefer to serve other or being serve by other?

I want to serve rather then being served. This has been my way of showing people around me, my family and friends, that they matter to me. I give them my time and show them effort to make them feel I am with them. I like cooking, for example, that is one way of serving them.

I am most comfortable in a 50/50 situation. I like to serve my family, but sometimes it feels nice to be pampered a little bit myself. I am a mom to 4 kids, and I feel like a slave about 90% of the time. My husband will sometimes step in and give me a little star treatment. Sometimes he will cook dinner for me, he will run a bath for me, little things like that. And, in turn, I will do something nice for him. As far as my kids are concerned, they never help out.

i've had to read this a few times to try and understand it, but i think i may have got it to an extent. i think it may depend on how your brought up, like the older days. where the female did most things for the family, and the husband didn't have to do much round the place. then you get astrology come in and you've got people who are more independent by nature (which i am) and you've got those who a more selfish, and won't help any one no matter what they do for you.
i prefer to help and get help back depending on what i'm doing.

Every situation requires different solutions. If I wanted to dine in a restaurant, I wanted to "be served" with outmost attention. When I wanted to help my community with their project, I wanted to "served" them with all my heart. If I wanted to buy clothes in a shopping mall, I wanted to "be served" by the sales lady. I I wanted to donate goods to the flood victims, I wanted to served my country. See every situation requires different serving solutions.

In my view, most people in the world both serve others and being served by others. Generally speaking, we serve others in order to earn money, which are spent in different situations while we are being served by others. It's quite impossible to find someone who is totally independent, especially in the modern world. Nowadays we are highly dependent on each other. Even if you could satisfy all your needs without other's service, I'm sure that your living standard will sharply decline. For instance, you should plant crops by yourself without using improved seeds, fertilizers and pesticides. When you harvest it, you should do it by yourself without the assistance of reaper. You could imagine such pictures. So I think the price of total independence is too high to afford.

Honestly, i am a service type of person. I would like to serve my friends, people in need or in community. But, when it comes to family, i want to be the type of person who wants to be served. I know that family should come first but that is the way i am. Do you think i am being selfish now?

I prefer to serve other people because i dont want to be dependent on anyone. Also I know that serving other people can can reflect my personality. I love taking care of my family and I am willing to serve them for the rest of my life.

I love being served. Whether it is by a girlfriend or my parents. This question relates to the question of whether one likes giving or receiving more. We all know the feeling of being sick in bed and a loved one serving us. However you should not take advantage of the person serving you. Serving another person shows your love to them and how much they mean to you. Thats is why I have no problem with serving others aswell as giving is indeed better than receiving.

For me, I would prefer to serve other. No matter how little or big services that I would render, at least I did it. Not all of the times that we must serve to others because there are situations where you are also being served by others... Whatever the services that you have rendered, it counts a lot.

riani I have spent a lifetime being used to serving
'others and thus justifying my space here in the
world.so now I am in a retirement center with literally
everything done for me. I feel sort of spoiled and
useless like there must be something I should be
doing to help someone else. lol lol lol I feel pampered
and do not like that feeling too much.
