I am not too sure of the sciences. My five cents worth.

If the global warming reaches a certain level,ice caps melt, throwing more water into the seas and oceans.More water means less land because of the flooding. A rise in temperature will kill off certain plants and animals in the ecological chain. Survival will be difficult.

If temperatures go way way down,(What is the trigger???, the ice caps expands and glacier moves down into the sea and spread over most of the land. The Ice Age has cometh.

Hmm. This is curious, to me, because I've always heard that it's the sun which controls global temps. Maybe it's the sun that alters the temps of the ocean & that makes it flow faster or slower?

From what source did you derive this theory, Hiccup? (NOT that I'm a member of the Church of Global Warming. I have a much better--& more accurate--religion... )

You know, "global warming" is no longer PC, it's "climate change" now. That means they don't know what is happening or why or if...

The oceans and the sun both seem to have something to do with it - much more so than mankind. We are not nearly as big and event causing as we like to think. The earth has withstood more dangers than puny humans.

I have never believed the - Convenient Untruth - it's just too, well, convenient for a certain political agenda and america is the great satan propaganda..

I still belive that man had a lot to do with Global Warming with all they for, its just greed, that is the problem, if they had let nature alone we woudn't have all this problem.

In the 70's they were warning of a coming ice age, I remember it well. What determines the speed of the water? Winds? Temperatures that would make the water molecules contract or expand? This is an interesting subject, Hiccup.

I know and I am knitting everyone gloves would you like some as well taking orders .I have built a mote around the house for the water from the ice caps.Do you think penguins taste nice and how do you cook them,as I was thinking about farming them on my land out back,and a fishing rod to catch the fish flowing by.Or maybe I ought to do away with that and build a sunshade with a sand all over the ground.I just wish they would make their minds up as we have only got forty years to get ready for it.Oh supposing we get hit by the meteroite that is heading for the earth.I think an under ground house might come in handy as well,as a good girl guide I am ready for anything.Blast it will have a cuppa tea and a biscuit how about you.
