Do you segregate your garbage??

We have to sort our rubbish by law. There was even talk of using street security cameras to spy on householders to make sure they do.

Sadly, due to the downturn in the world economy, China is no longer taking all our re-cycled material so a lot of it is just going into big holes in the ground as before.

As for morons that litter the streets, they don't care if there is writing to read or not. They just throw it anywhere for others to pick up.

In Malaysia, they do not provide the separate bins to
segregate trash from non-biodegradable from biodegradable.
So, no choice! However, certain malls have those recycle
bins for plastic, glass bottles, papers & aluminium cans.
I noticed people do adhere to it.

If this trash bin available here, people should be educated
on this, for the benefit of everyone. For the environment too!

There is one occasion recently, I saw 2 guys put the used
paper cup in the 'car jockey' drawer in front of a hotel.
So, in this case, we can't expect this people to adhere
this practice..-sigh-

yeah, i segregate my garbage for instant those things which easily decay are label as inorganic while those perishable items are label as organic. nd i have separate receptacles for bottles, plastic, cans and even old newspapers and magazines then I sold it every end of the month. It is one way to earn from our garbage aside from the cleaning one do to her surrounding makes every mind of the settlers happy as the annoying scenes is remove making the places smelling clean.

Hello joannaleed. I do segregate garbage. I think that it is a good habit of ours if we do so. When it is related to something that can be recycled, I place them into a plastic bag for them to get recycled, such as plastic bottles and cans, etc.
