History sciences needs to be encouraged....  | |  Some people have a common assumption that History sciences like History, paleontology and anthropology who study the past incidents and search for clues are boring and do not give enough money. I dont agree with this completely just like we will be interested where our ancestors came from and many other things. From jurassic park, dinosaurs became craze and I used to read about them completely. I was in awe when I saw a pic of dinosaur skeleton (almost complete). I used to dream how this creatures would walk on the earth and if they were present, then the consequences. History is one of the most beautiful branch in sciences. Archaeology is also the same thing which we can uncover the mysteries about a place or a person. I wanted to become freelance archaeologist and go to egypt my favorite historical and archaeological destination. I follow Natgeo, History and discovery channels for a visual representation of this sciences.

| | 2.  manong05 (2932) | 2 months ago |  I do not find history or any other sciences that study the past boring. I am a fan of NatGeo and discovery too and I learn a lot just by watching. Among other things that amaze me is the wisdom found in early civilization as expressed in their ancient engineering practices. It really makes one wonder in amazement how they are able to build such engineering and architectural wonders in those days given limited building resources.
Our present technology is light years away from them and still we find it difficult to follow what they have done like rebuilding the pyramids of Egypt, early aztec and inca's structure. Amazing indeed.
