Wedding music  | |  My friends are having me "dj" their wedding reception. By "dj", I mean come up with music to put in a playlist and hit play on an iPod hooked up to a stereo system. Their plan is to have everyone in the bridal party pick one song, and I can go crazy with the rest.
Problem is, I'm having trouble coming up with suitable music. My only restriction is to keep it family-friendly, as there will be kids about.
So far, I have "Dance Commander" by Electric Six and (maybe) either "Diamonds and Gold" or "Hang Down Your Head" by Tom Waits. I'm really wanting to avoid the cliche stuff.
Anyone have suggestions?
