Gifts at Christmas the ones you do not want.

theres nothing that I would not like if it was given as a gift or even if its just for nothing. if you were given something, that means you were thought of or you were considered someone important to the giver. even if I already have that item that was given, I wuold still appreciate it because its always a different giver and its the thought that counts.

I say thank you in the most sincere voice I could possibly muster, and I do try to find a use for it afterwards. I never give it away, as that seems just wrong. If I absolutely cannot find use for it or I cannot like it no matter how hard I try, it usually lies forgotten in the back of my closet.

I guess there are not any gifts that I do not want but I really prefer to get things I can use. I like it when I get everyday items so I don't have to buy them for a little while. When you live on a budget and can't spend a lot for christmas, it always feels funny to get a bunch of things from people and not be able to give back. I have certainly regifted before and I don't feel bad about it because if I think someone else can use it more than I can, it is in a better place.

I usually always get gifts that I want, as my family and I check with each other to see what we all want. If I did get a gift that I did not care for I would keep it anyway.

I don't celebrate Christmas but I do get gifts on other days like birthdays, anniversaries, mother's day and so on. I don't think I have ever received a gift that I don't like. I think the fact that someone thought about giving me a gift is a gift in itself. And the physical gift is just a bonus. So if I'm given something that I already have, I will most definitely keep it until I find the need to use it. I have received gifts like an iron and an oven toaster of which I already have one so I just keep them until my present iron or oven toaster breaks down. And I don't have to buy a new one since someone has already thoughtfully given it to me.

If I have no use for it I would either give it to someone who could use it or donate it to the charity shop. I tell anyone that I buy presents for to do the same. I have more than enough stuff that has accumulated over the years & is just tucked away in a cupboard. I can appreciate the thought from the giver but, to me, passing it on is no worse than shoving it out of sight somewhere in the house/garage.

Hee hee!! Don't you just love those kinds of gifts? First I try to think if there is someone I can give it to . . . and if I can, I'll save it for an occasion. If it's something no one will want, I will offer it on Freecycle. And if no one takes it there, I'll try to get rid of it on Craigslist. There's usually SOMETHING I can do with the gift . . . but if not, I know I can always donate it to the nearest thrift shop!!

I usually have a gifts that I don't want but the thoughts is what made it very important to me. When the gifts are things that I don't usually use, I try to find ways to use it even at one time to make it more thoughtful. I don't give my gifts to anyone, I know the feeling of recycling gifts and I know the one who gave me the gifts will be hurt if they see the gifts they have given to me have given to another person. I find ways to use that gifts as much as possible.

I have to say I have never received a gift that I couldn't use or wanted. People usually ask me what I want and I will either say nothing this year or I make a list of the things I would love to receive. That way no one can go wrong. If I was to receive something that I have already I would either exchange it at he store or give it to one of my daughters.

I do not care is the same sa a gift!But I care for two consecutive years,
the same person sent me a gift is the same!Moreover,he did not know!
