 Ive been separated with my husband for almost 5 years now. From then, i didnt give anytime to entertain any man that comes on my way. I've been enjoying single life, enjoying time with my kids. Want to have an advise from you guys, is it good to stay alone for life eventhough there are times that I feel lonely and empty? What if having a man beside me only means heart aches and headaches...?

But really my advice to you is really stay single until you meet a guy that you like to have around. Relationships have a purpose and can be quite fulfilling if you can make them work. I got divorced from my ex about ten years ago and for about nine of them there was no one special in my life and that wasn't for lack of trying, it was for me to clear my head from what I went through and try to get my life straight. I met a decent man a year or so ago and we do well. But before he entered my life, I told God that if it was his will for me to be alone, OK, I accept it. and I did; I was prepared to accept it when we went on hiatus due to illness this past summer. so I will say it like this; it's good to have, but you can do without.

I am 61 now and always on the go but once I can no longer get along by myself I get scared as I have no childern. I have my two cats and that is good for me.
