|  This proverb which exists in almost all languages is indeed true after hearing about a 16 year chap who molested and raped young girls. He is a school drop out and used to live on his mothers expenses. He is stuck to TV for days together and being idle at home, without any work or responsibility, he started eyeing for young vulnerable girls. He started giving them sweets, cajoling them and touching their private parts. Then onwards he started raping them. But when one of the victims revolted, he was caught and he is in Juvenile jail ward. When asked what prompted him to this severe action, he told that he used to dream of this things while at home since his young mind is not preoccupied.

| |  Boredom doesn't lead someone to molesting or raping someone. If it was up to "god" then the crime itself would never exit. Yes, people do get in to trouble when they are bored but saying that is the reason WHY things happens isn't valid. I don't go out hitting people with a hockey stick when I am bored, nor do I jam my grocery cart into others when I am shopping and people are taking forever to go through the line.

| |  Its really true that Idle person's mind is a devils workshop. When ever we work and keep mind busy with something productive our thoughts would be positive and ways to strive success in life. If one sits idle he will be completely submerged into negative thoughts as he wouldn't have a thing to think about. We all know that our brain is a super computer which is kept on work till our life time. It will work as we ask it to. If we don't feed it with good thoughts it will obviously gives fruits of bad ones. So let us all strive for our betterment and keep our minds working on good thoughts

| |  For good health we must take proper food at right time..in the same way a good work is a medicine to brain to out from worries and deviations. So If you can provide good, you will get good. If you keep yourself ideal mean you have not provide good things to your brain.. so you will get bad thing out of your brain.

| |  Yes, I do agree with that, that idle person's mind is a devil's workshop. When you are idle, you tend to feel bored easily and so as a means to get away from that boredom, people tend to do negative things. Ohh, so horrified.
As i begin to know about the bad thing of being idle, now I try my best not to be idle anymore. I preoccupied my time with learning, reading and writing, as I cannot let my mind stop working because then I will feel more depress.
