Modern Day Heroes, who are they?

History teaches us of our heroes, their life and their contribution to our country and humankind. But now, there are those people or group of people was are tag as Modern day heroes. They may be dead or still living, someone you know personally or just a name heard on the TV or in the newspapers. Do you know any of them? What traits are most describe to a person/s to be called a Modern Day heroes?

Hi,full,i can quote Ghandi who made India free from British rule.Britishers ruled India about more than 150 years and there were so many struggles and so many clashes.But Ghandi worked out in such a way that without weapon he lead the agitationand finally got the India freedom.
