Has anyone used free online advertising sites?  |

 Hi MyLotters,
I started affiliate marketing recently, but am trying to keep the budget in check. After perusing around, I found sites such as Inetgiant.com that seem to be half-way decent and offer free advertising for your business or products.
Have any of you ever tried sites like this for your advertisements? If so, what were the results? Did you like them? Was it worth it? Does it only appear good and then yield no results?

3.  venkataraman_vc (1443) | 1 month ago |  I have used some free classified websites and some traffic exchanges. The results were convincing. Mostly the results depend upon how we advertise and not where we advertise. Some good sites that gave me best results were Adpost.com, ablewise.com and inetgiant.com. These three are free classified websites. The only traffic exchange that worked for me is TrafficSwarm.com.

I agree too that a portion of it is the wording of the advertisements and not where the ads are...will keep that in mind as I start posting new ones.

| 4. mysdianait (11845) | 1 month ago |  I joined an advertising site two years ago and am still a memebr now. I have tired others but this is my favourite. It is linked to many other sites o one free ad gets seen on many other sites too and brings many visitors from the most unexpected places.
You can see the results on the widget on my blog and the site is the top banner in my profile.

Even the paid portions are WAY cheaper than what I'm paying Google Adwords and I'll get tons more impressions. Better value by a mile! I get paid tomorrow and will being signing up over the weekend. 5.  oneidmnster (821) | 1 month ago |  I've been using free advertising for awhile.I couldn't tell you how well they've worked,but I do get hits on my site and I haven't actively promoted it for a couple of months now.I figure the free advertising must work to a degree.It sure can't hurt.
