He Snores So Loud!!! Any tips! |
|
HI Everyone!!!! Lately my Boyfriends has been starting to snore! It is so unbearable that I can't seem to sleep anymore. I try waking him for him to go on his side and he only stops snoring for a few minutes! This has been going on for about two months now... How many of you have a partner that snores? How do you deal with it? Do yourself snore?

1. SuzyLong (498) | 1 month ago | I make sure my boyfriend sleeps on his side when he starts snoring and that stops it. If we are in bed and his snoring wakes me up, I soon wake him up and tell him to get on his side. Try that and see if it helps

2. love_all (277) | 1 month ago | the best way is to turn him rather than asking him to sleep on his back.. it would be better if he sleeps on his arms by taking a left or a right turn.. that's a better way to avoid snores..

5. shadow41 (747) | 1 month ago | I think I snore sometimes. Snoring can be brought about by stress. Your boyfriend maybe too tired of something. Tired from work maybe. Or it could be a problem in his respiratory system. Try to convince him to visit a doctor. Just to be sure that there's nothing wrong. Anyway I can understand you. My brother do snore sometimes and it's really irritating.:) I just cover my ears til I put myself to sleep.:)

prikayjo2436 (211) | 1 month ago | Hi Shadow! Well thanks for your concern.. But my boyfriend is so stubborn when it comes to him going to the doctors... He is just like a little kid, in order for him to go you have brib him with something.. hahahaha... I think I am going to try those nose strips, I seen a commercial on it.. It helps prevent snoring!

shadow41 (747) | 1 month ago | Ehehe. Well I can understand him. I myself won't go and see the doctors if I'm not feeling well. I just find some ways to cure myself. Haha. But be warned. My uncle used to snore so loud so my aunt tried her best to convince his husband to see the doctor. After a series of test they found out that there's a little mass bulging in his larynx. Doctor's said that it could have become worse if not treated immediately.:)

7. bluerainhong (271) | 1 month ago | hi,prikayjo, I deeply understand your feeling, but he is your boyfriend, you can not leave him, right, maybe your boyfriend has been tired recently, so he starts to snore, if this, he needs much rest, then it will be better. Do not care for it, for he is your boyfriend.

prikayjo2436 (211) | 1 month ago | Hi Blue! Well I love my boyfriend.. That is why I haven't told him that it bothers me... Because I know that he will either fell bad or take it the wrong way.. So I am trying to politely tell him that he is starting to snore. I don't like hurting anyone's feelings! Thanks for responding!

| 8. Fireheart (76) | 1 month ago | Well warn him then about this, if he is unaware of what nuisance he is making.Really i hate snoring people the thing that they sleep well thus waking others.I think you better advice him to go and meet a doctor or you tell him to sleep on other place.thankfully am sure that i dont snore, if i were to do that then am bound to move away from public than disturbing people who sleeps.anyway you have to go tell him about this even though he dont mean to..

|
prikayjo2436 (211) | 1 month ago | Hi Fireheart! Well I am going to tell him, Soon.. I just don't want him to feel bad that he is keeping me up at night... That when my two year old wakes up before he does, she is sometimes scared of the noise that he is making! lol.. Thanks for responding!

| 10. vannice95 (65) | 1 month ago | Hi prikayjo, this tips will hopefully give your boyfriend snoring problems. Here are the tips. Elevate your head by sleeping on a thicker pillows will help reduce your snoring. Don't drink alcoholic beverage take sleeping pills, trnquilizers,or antihistamines right before going to sleep, they will cause your muscles to relax and limit your air passage away. Avoid dairy products, which can cause muscles build up right before you go to sleep. Try taking a little bit of honey before sleeping. And don't eat a big meal right before bed, coz if your stomach is full it will push up on your diaphragm and limit breating passage ways. hope this will help.

prikayjo2436 (211) | 1 month ago | Hi Vannice! Very interesting that you say that... He always eats something before bed... Not a snack, usually a small meal! I am going to test it out and tell him not to eat right before bed tonight! That might just do the trick! Thanks for responding!
