Do you find it is soo hard to please all the family members all the time?

Thankfully, I live alone (well, with a kittycat) so get to do and serve what I want.

i do,but i do a lot for my kids and boyfriend,so every once in a while i don't care that i'm not pleasing them,the old saying is YOU CAN'T PLEASE EVERYONE ALL OF THE TIME and it's true

Oh yes, it's really hard and impossible to always please all the family members. As for me, when I prepare food on the dining table, whatever food it is, either my family member eats or nothing at all. And with this set up, it is working. Whether they like it or not, they have to be contented to what is prepared. If not, they are free to look elsewhere and cook for their own.

I can imagine these clashes in such a big family as yours. Each of the kids is unique with their individual wants and dislikes and pet peeves and I guess its not easy to get all of them to agree on food or the TV program.

Yes it is hard to please them. Specifically my father. He always have a criticism on everything we do, he is a frustrated perfectionist. Why did I say he is a frustrated perfectionist, it is because he like to say what is wrong, he likes to complain, he likes to find wrong in what we are doing only to find out he can't do things right himself. When I am giving my all for him, it is just an average. I get angry sometimes because he seems good whenever he advice us but in real life he is not. Well he is still my father, I still have to respect him. What hurts me is when in their faces, that they are not happy accepting what I can give.
