Before replying to your discussion, i checked ur profile to see how old are u.. because u have not mentioned here that ur 16 yrs old.. 16 yrs and still ur in school??? sorry but sounds strange to me, or i guess, u have not mentioned ur correct age..
not a issue, coming to ur discussion, i totally agree what u said, this is the age, where u feel lot of fun and life full of adventures and exciting things..

Deal with it. Anyone who has gone to school has. You don't*have* to do all the homework your teachers set you, hell you don't even have to study if all you want to do is scrape a passing grade. Sheesh.

this normal phenomenon,students in school live a inhumance conditions,the teachers arrange a lot of work,parants also ask us to do work,we are in such pairs of pressure from the deep tormne our nerves,until the university.I justcame from here,and the paintful experience that I remember deeply.we are difficult to change it,but we can adapt to the scociety,a person's power is limited,so to see a prescription for life full of hope,make more friendes,look some inspirational books,the mood will be better,more open vision,life will be in the rigth path

The thing to ask is "is this part of the coursework that is graded for the final exam" and/or "is this going to be part of the exam".

If the answer is yes then you need to do it. If the answer is "no" you can ask why they are loading this on you when you have other work that is actually important.

my son is 14 and hardly has any homework,which i find really odd,so i asked his teacher,i got told that not all teachers believe in homework,bet you wish yours didn't,anyway,don't get stressed,relax and take a break then go back to it later,you'll find it a lot less stressfull that way,don't let homework rule your life,kids need to have fun as well as study

I do not agree with your point of view.I think you are lucky, because you are not born in China.Chinese students are the most tired in the world,because they have to learn at least ten hours a day. Even in the holidays,they still have to study eight hours a day.China's education is distorted,the Chinese students tired. So you are lucky.

I don't mind the work. The entire process just doesn't make sense to me or strike me as healthy. I'm homeschooling my daughter. This way, we can focus on actually learning and not just meeting requirements for grades. JMO.

It has been alot of years since I was in school but I remember spending at least 2 hours between after school and dinner, then help with dishes and then go back to homework for 2 more hours. Sometimes I still did not get it all done so I would have to wake up early then get to school early and sit in the lunchroom to try to finish.

I graduated a few years ago, but I definately hated school. My problem wasn't the school work or the teachers though, I couldn't stand the people I went to school with. I couldn't wait to get out of school. When I was younger I always saw myself going to college, but after my years in high school, I gave up the idea of college. I didn't feel like I could stand any more. Sometimes I regret that decision, but I'm still young and it's still an option. Try not to get too stressed. Take one thing at a time and do your best. Just remember there are plenty of other students out there that are feeling the same way you are. Keep your chin up. Trust me, there will be days later in life when you are wishing homework was all you had to stress about.

Same here, I never loved school. To be honest, I'm just going to school because my parents want to. I feel like I'm torturing myself whenever I go to that g'damn place. There are things that I'm passionate about that I want to concentrate on and school is a big distraction.
