Have you ever been shocked by an electric fence?

Yes I have been shocked by an electric fence. They put one up in my parents back yard to keep horses in the field beside ours. I didn't realize that the electricity came in pulses. I touched it a few times without getting shocked and figured it wasn't on. Then I grabbed it for about three seconds and it shot through my body and I fell straight on my butt. it wasn't very fun.

you have got to be able to laugh after getting bitten by a fence or at least see the funny side of it. i deal with electric fences every day and i still ask if it's on, i don't like the concept of getting zapped by a fence. especially when it come from a power point, my work mate gets annoyed at me for it but i don't care.
i do remember one time, we're fixing a gate way yrs ago at one place i was working at. it was thick tape across the gate way, the bloke i was helping was danish and we didn't usually get zapped by the fences there. so we'd hooked it up and he was standing with a leg with a leg either side, it ended up getting him on the balls not bad but it was enough he moved quick. all you could do was stand there and laugh.

I have never been shocked by an electric fence before. I have been very lucky. I have touched them before but thank God they were not on. I know that would hurt alot if it were activated.
