Heaven or hell?

What about eternal life and death? I don't follow the belief that hell is anything more than the grave. I would like to think I could make it to ascension but all things considered I think I am heading more towards hell (grave) and my hope will most likely be in the resurrection unto eternal life.

If I measure everything I have ever done in the weighing scale of the Holy God, I would never be qualified for heaven. Nobody is ever qualified to go to heaven because of his or her good deeds. The Bible is very clear about that. It is only by the grace of God by faith that a person can have a home in heaven. I am glad that I have put my faith in Christ who died for me and paid the penalty of my sins.

If this was how it was measured then nearly everyone on Earth would go to hell. However, for Christians, if you confess your sins then they can be forgiven due to the sacrifice that the son of God made for them on the cross. Therefore they would go to heaven. This is a very liberal view and there are a number of different thoughts on this.

I have done alot of good thing in my life for other people as well as helped alot of people so i think it will be heaven.

Hi leahsmom, As I don't believe in either the traditional heaven or hell, I am not going to either. I do however expect to to live in a heaven like place for sometime before moving on to the next level. It may mean returning here for another lifetime or to somewhere else where I will continue to progress. Of course no one really knows what happens at the moment of our transition but no one should ever be afraid. Blessings.

there is no hell no heaven i dont know where this religion will lead to a lifetime lust.my friends god do not exist neither heaven nor hell. but meaning of heaven or hell can be felt here when we live on this earth. if you are joyous and creating a life of your dream design if you can make others fell better then this all positive part is heaven and other distructing part is hell. no heaven or hell after death.

Hell.. being as 'hell' should be translated as death/the grave.. And since God is Life (who or what else could be?) and He is also Perfection.. Well, when he endowed thinking ability and thus choice, well a whole new world (or tree) of possibilites 'came to be' for thinking ability includes sooner or later the ability to choose.. but once one chooses anything other than what God/Perfection chooses, they become imperfect the opposite of God/Life (namely nonlife) and alas I am highly imperfect, and always have been. But! God also built into all things from the beginning (from "the foundation of the world") the rescue, dramatic enough to reach all psyches, the Son crucified (died in our place). So if it depends on me, death/nonlife (commonly translated as hell) will be my destination, but! I am rescued/saved, so my destination will be life!

I personally dont believe in either but IF I had to for whatever reason evaluate my life, character etc and figure out which of the two I would be going to it would most definately be Heaven...Why? Because i'm a loving, compassionate woman with a heart of gold and strong positive character..I may DO or have done things that ppl may not agree with but its irrelivent...WHO I am is down to my core being, the type of person I am down to my soul is what matters..
