Are you afraid to go on a late night walk by yourself?  

Kind of since its dangerous and not only that I wouldnt want to go because thats when all the bugs and mosquitos are out and I always get eaten alive when they are out and would not want to plus drivers have a hard time seeing you. But if its in the city then it might be different since there are more lights.

hi ,my friend, I do not afraid of the dark at all,I usually walk on a late night by myself, this is because the needs of my work.I often patrol at night,time probably10:00-01:00 or 01:00-04:00. I have been accustomed. so how about you ,my lotters?

Absolutely you are right, most of the times we should not walk
in the night time, especially if you are a women, because many things are
happen in that place. First of all you have to check the safety of the place
and then you would go for the walking with others in order to save your life,
otherwise it may possible to happen anything particularly in the night time.
So better to avoid this late night walking, and better to choose the good
place in the late night to go for the walking, and also it must be have some
good peoples along with you, to make the life is more safer than the danger.

I agree that it's not good for a woman to walk alone at night. Just like you said, even in a safe place there may still exists some potential criminals. They seem like ordinary people in daylight. But if they see a woman walking alone at night, I'm afraid they will be lured to do some harm to that woman. So a woman should never run the risk of walking alone at night.

I walk at night on a streets when their is a lot of people passing by where their still presence of crowds. In my own experience, I walk alone when have to walk at least 1km fro home to the main road when I am still studying in college. I walk fast and briskly every night from 8 up to 9pm with a companion and sometimes when he is absence I walk by myself alone. Luckily, nothing bad happen to me.Thus, most of the times I do not like to walk in a strange streets or places where their is no presence of crowds with no electrical post or the street is totally darker as i would not really trusting to walk alone as many criminals may be hiding behind those dark streets.

No I think in today's day and age it's probably unwise to walk just about anywhere I'm thinking by yourself at night. I know my husband has even been in certain areas where he felt unsafe as a male?!! So, what does that tell you...You might be safer say in North America in certain rural areas or really small town where everyone knows everyone but you don't know for certain. You might as a female, encounter an otherwise "normal" guy or something that became drunk that night and decided to be a problem for society or something. I have a friend of mine that actually runs at night in our local park which is heavily forested and quite dark with winding trails. She refuses to stop because she says that would make her feel like a victim and not in charge. I once met this psychic once you mentioned to me that she gave a reading to one particular woman. Anyway she told me that she saw something terrible happening to the woman if she were to go out at night on her own on one particular night. Well, she cautioned the woman to stay home that night, but the woman was laughing and decided to test her "prediction". She decided to walk to her neighborhood grocery store around 11:00 ish at night and was not seen again. She had been brutally murdered in her neighborhood. Scary isn't it...

I agree with you. Regardless how safe is the area, there's a chance something do happen. Just because we didn't hear and see it, doesn't mean it's not there. I don't feel safe to walk in certain areas during day, how safe will I be at night. People these days are pretty unpredictable. It's better to be safe than sorry. I hardly walk alone. There's at least a person to accompany me.

Heck no! Late night is when things go bump in the night. Seriously I'm afraid of the dark. People usually grow out of it but I have a more active imagination than some. Ghouls and zombies exist to me. However, you're a woman and are more afraid of sexual predators and stuff. I don't have to worry too much about that. I'm more afraid of the wolfman.

It is very dangerous for a girl to walk alone at night time.

But during my college time, I stayed by myself and sometimes I do went out late with my friends and that is the only time I have to walk back home late by myself.At least I have to take lift up to my rented house by myself.I am so lucky that so far nothing happened to me.Actually, I did feel scared,but what to do, I went back home myself as I were not staying same place with my friends.

But now, I am married and I won't never walk alone again.My husband will always at my side and I also never go out late at night.I prefer to spend my night with my husband and my son.
