Blues and jazz

Blues and jazz.there are kind of music that i know and i think it is same but people said that there are many difference in them. Maybe anybody can tell me what its difference? Thanks

I could mistaken, but think some of it has to do with the origins of the music.

I mean the actual city or part of the country that the music started in.

That is very interesting. I did know that the blues referred to mood, but I did not know about the Jazz. Learn something new everday.
