Why won't my pet frog eat?

Thanks a bunch Oly! That website helps a lot. I heard some frogs don't need to be fed everyday, but wasn't sure if it was the African Dwarf Frog as well. You answered everything! Now I can rest in ease.:)

I think my African Dwarf frog actually _is_ eating when I'm not looking. I recently cleaned the tank and the little bit of food I put in there disappears after a while. I also got to witness my frog shedding, heh. They definitely are interesting creatures.

That is excellent news. I bet seeing him shed was awesome! My husband uncovered the tractor the other day and there was a tree frog just sitting there on the roof. It started to hop towards him, and he was telling it "No no go the other way over there" so I looked to see what on earth he was talking to.

Sure enough it was the cutest frog I ever seen,. so the poor thing sat there on the roof of the tractor just looking down at the ground almost as if it was thining "man that's a long way down there" LOL so I got him and walked him over to the trees and put him down in the grass. I managed to snap a photo of him with the cell phone but his cute little head was hidden under a piece of grass so all I got was his back and his hind legs LOL. That was an enjoyable experience and he really did sit there staring at the ground for a couple of minutes LOL. I waited to see if he would jump off but when he didn't I said well I guess I got to help him LOL.

Lol, that was nice of you! It must have been a great experience. And yes, seeing my frog shed _was_ awesome! Haha. He's done shedding now and is sitting happily on the purple gravel I have in the tank. He really is adorable!
