My favorite soup was Chicken soup and also it should be served in
very hot condition along with some kinds of vegetables in it, most of the
times I used to have the chicken soup from the Japanese and Thai resturants
and also like to have the soup and also contains lots of pepper and vegetable
on that soup. When the soup has been served with hot condition and also
having the great taste would give the great relax and also would boost
our mind. Whenever I have free times then go to the Japanese restaurants
and would like to taste this Chicken Soup in order to have the relax.

| 3. muscles4me (8503) | 1 month ago |  Chicken gumbo and tomatoe and of course chicken noodle. Those are my favorites. Every once in awhile a vegetable barley soup or a bean soup is good if I am more hungry than usual. Keep the crackers unless its tomatoe soup then I like the crackers in the soup.

| 4. thea09 (4150) | 1 month ago |  Hi ladym, what an interesting discussion about soup. I'm rather partial to Thai Ton Yon soup and still have a jar of paste lurking somewhere, it lasts forever. Simply stir a small amount in hot water and add prawns, tofu, spring onions and mushrooms. It's never quite the same without the tofu though which they don't sell here.

| 5. coffeeshot (2479) | 1 month ago |  I sometimes make my own pea and basil soup. It has peas and basil in it (of course), sauteed oniona nd garlic, carrot and celery. Mix it in with vegetable stock and when it's coked and cooled, blend it in a food blender. It is absolutely beautiful!
Other than that I really love canned pumpkin soup and canned tomato soup. Of course I'd prefer homemade soup but there's something so satisfying about a tin of soup and some buttered bread, especially in winter. Cheap, easy and delcious!

Good discussion for the fall season – I prefer home made soups, but do enjoy some that are not. Not in any particular order, but I like: creamy, gourmet potato, with sour cream and a goodly amount of grated cheese in it, chicken noodle, clam chowder, beef stew, chile, and of course, being in the south – chicken tortilla soup – great with fresh made corn bread or fritos
And I do still enjoy (from back home) ham and white navy beans, and what has also been called ‘boiled dinner’ (ie; ham, potatoes, carrots and cabbage cooked in the potato water.) Guess that covers a lot, but then who isn’t a soup lover?
