How many hours do you walk daily?

Hi mylotters all say that walking is good for health . Some say that walking should be done according to your age eg if some person age is 24 he has to walk for 24 min. How much time does a normal person require to spend for walking . Please do share your views . All your views are welcome. Thanks and take care.

I dont know exactly how much one needs to walk daily but if this is the ground rule as you have mentioned then one thing is sure that i am walking much more than required but still i feel i need to have some more brisk walk so that i loose some more weight that i feel is necessary to shed for a perfect figure.

i presume what u say is correct.. but the time is not proportional to the age for walking.. bcs my doctor recomenned me double to time of my age for walk.. hope i am not getting old so fast... lol.. take care..

I walk 2hrs daily early in the morning.Walking is the best remedy for all diseases.

I walk for around 20 minutes per day. I am lazy to get up early in the morning and go for a walk. Now, I am on a serious process to reduce my weight. So, I exercise regularly. My work place is 20 minutes walk away. I will be in a hurry in the morning. So, my driver will drop me in the office, but I asked him not to come to pick me up at night. My shift ends at 8 pm and I walks back home. I enjoy walking.

with my Cleaning job i walk about over 4hrs a day... 5days a week not including the walking/dancing i can do over the weekend... So i walk alot for my age... 24 LOL anbd i have started to lose my bulge from holiday and eating healthier for it aswell!! Soon will get into my old routine of tummy scrunches with my Ab Trainer... GET FIT!!!!! LOL :-D

During my visit with my doctor, I was advice to do some walking for at least 30 minutes a day and I'm doing more than he adviced me, I make sure that I'm doing at least 3kms of walk a day, I think you can walk as long as you can but not to the point that you tire your self that much and will make you feel bad for the rest of the day.
