 Hello mylotters
For some of you might know that I have been trying to find a place to rent before winter hits us. We currently are living in our camper and it is taking a toll on me with the cold weather coming on. So a couple of weeks ago we decided to start looking for a place to rent. This past Saturday we had an appointment to look at a Mobile Home. We went and we both fell in love with this place. It is out in the country and has 12 acres of land, gargage,outbuildings and a real nice mobile home. The lady that is renting it took our name and some references and said that she had others coming to look at it and she would let us know if we get to rent it. I have been so nervous over this that it is unreal. I want this place so bad. I feel like that because I want it so bad that she will choose someone else to live there. You know to want something so bad that you just know that you cant have it. Has anyone felt like this before? Do you think that I am just expecting the worse? Tell me what you think.

But you just have to have a little hope and faith with trying to get what you want. Maybe it's not the right time for you to get what you want yet, since there are a lot more things to be done in the present for a more positive future. Not everyone gets what they want in the present, it shall come in time when they're ready. It won't be the exact place, but you'll eventually get what you want soon enough just try not to expect too much out of the situation and just relax. And live in the present.

have as much chance as any of the others so think positively, I am going to get this mobile home. yes when we were evicted and this English internet friend of my son kept telling us she would pay the rent on a two br.room apt in Antioch Ca for us for 3 months so my son would have time to get a job. I wanted that so badly. the only thing is that even after she had signed an agreement to the manager of the apts. she reneged at the last moment and told the manager to tear up the agreement.This was sickening in that it threw us right out on to the street. Of course now I am in this Retirement center which is still better than being homeless, and my son, my only family,is in a gov. sponsored apt with three other men all of whom are looking for
work. so its not what we wanted but at least we are not out on the street. | |

Yes I know exactly what your saying here. I have wanted a million things in my life SO BAD. Some I get some I do not. I hope you get this place I cannot imagine living in a camper in the winter or for that matter at all. Winters here can get really bad, cold ice snow wind everything you can imagine. It is hard to live in the camper. We had to do this back when hubby got laid off. His unemployment checks was only covering the loans and credit card payments that we have. We had no chance to do anything different. Now that he has been back to work for a month now and with the winter coming just around the corner, we knew that we had to find somthing. When I looked at this place my heart just sank. It was differently something that I wanted. Thanks for sharing and I will let you know as soon as I know. Keep your fingers crossed for me. The lady was telling us that the utility room needed to be painted. That is all the painting that needs to be done. I go over there tomorrow and go over the paper work and sign the lease. Then she will release the keys to us. I will probably start the painting process toward the end of this week. The electric and water is already on but I have to put it into our name. I don't know what the deposits are on those yet. Im going to call about that a little later on. Im up this morning bright eyed and bushy tail ready to start on the packing process. Although there wont be much packing from here. All my bigger stuff is in storage. Thanks for sharing your happiness with me. Keep smiling. | |

Remember that one? You just have to keep your feet on the ground and keep looking in case you don't get it.
I know what it feels like to want something so bad, but I didn't get it.

I've seen people buy them in this market for less than the first and last month's rent and deposit would cost on an apartment!

I got the news last night that we did get the trailer. I am so excited about it that I have had a smile on my face since then. It is Monday morning here right now and I still have the big smile on my face. I just can't wait to get those keys and plan on moving. It probably will be this weekend if all goes the right way. Then last night I got the phone call from her. She has decided to let us rent the trailer. She said that she liked my attitude and thought that we would take care of the place. Isn't that great news. I was and still am on cloud nine. I meet with her on Tuesday to sign the lease and get the keys. I will let you know when the big move is. | |

It does sound like a nice place and if you can really afford it this would be a Great thing for you as well. Just don't get too upset if someone else gets it, and keep trying. When you find the place you are supposed to have, it will happen.

Well I guess it was meant to be. She called us last night and said that she decided that she wanted us to rent her property. I was so excited. I go over there on Tuesday and sign the papers and get the keys.

Butttt, the lady did call me last night and said that she had choosen us to rent this trailer. I was tickled that I jumped up and gave my husband a big hug and was smiling for so long. Heck Im still smiling..
