Hi, uchihaseymour. I have seen many people put their Christmas decorations up too. But not this early though. The earliest that I have seen, was right during the later part of November, The Thanksgiving holiday. I would not want to put any decorations up. I worry that the decorations may get messy sooner or later.

hello there cream97~
yes, i have noticed that before too, i think some people nowadays are like "overexcited" about the season that's why they put in decorations as early as they want to~ hehe
yeah, cleaning up the decoration is really a big fuss~ its better to put just a minimal decoration rather than having it very glamorous, otherwise in the end we will just tire ourselves hehe~
have a nice day~!

I noticed that here in the Philippines because they said that Filipinos started to celebrate christmas season when the months turns to 'ber' and ends on the 'three kings' which is on January. I don't even know why but I guess It is a culture.

Hi there,
It is a bit early to decorate the house with Christmas decor in September. But now it is just three days away from Christmas!!
The shopping malls here in my city is up with many beautiful Christmas decorations. All are very nice. I have a lot of bloggers friends also getting ready tehir Christmas tree and decor in the house. It is good that they share the joyful in the blog.
For me, I don't have any Christmas tree. I am too lazy to get any Christmas decoration to be put at home. What I have is I already get some presents wrap and to be given to my kids.

I see your from the Philippines too and my answer has a lot to do on us being Filipinos. Philippines are known for celebrating the longest Christmas in the world. We start decorating and preparing for Christmas as soon as the -ber months start (which is September) up until the first week of January (Three Kings). I think this is mainly because we start feeling the Christmas breeze around that time. It gets colder aand colder starting from September and it puts us all in the mood for Christmas since it is the next huge celebration for us. (We don't really decorate for Holloween because our idea of holloween is going to the cementeries to visit our loved ones who have passed away.) We do not spend a lot of time for holloween, i think it is only the malls who are into Holloween decorating and if you may notice in the malls, Christmas starts at September and they only start selling holloween stuff a week or two before the Holloween and resume the CHristmas theme immediately after Holloween..hehe.. I think that is really a nice tradition to have a long Christmas because people are set to the giving and sharing mode. :D
