Do you like to be a house wife or employed wife.........

Hello,
I would be employed rather than stay home and do house work. I love house work as well but I want to stand on my own for other thing. I dont like a man to bossing me around cuz they think they are who bring home money. some men would think we can't do it, only them but I am not the girls that they were thinking .

Can I be independently wealthy and single?

I work full time, but I would love to be able to stay home and do things with the children and be involved in their schools more and so on.

Well I kind of have the best of both worlds, I stay at home and take care of my children and my house but I also work at home to. I own my own internet based business so I get to stay home and work. It is not easy though I have to balance everything and everybody there are some days when it is really hard, but I want to be with my kids so I will take the hard work.

I used to work when I was single and even when i am married as well. But when i got pregnant I decide to stay at home after i gave birth. I wanted to be a hands on mother and a stay at home wife. So my husband gave me a computer so i still leanr on whats happening with the outside world. Maybe i will continue working when our son is bigger but as of now I enjoy every minute of being a stay at home wife and mother.

I am not sure of having the right to respond this discussion, as i am a man.
In my opinion, to be employed wife would be better. Everyone should have a job to make her/him independent. Additionally, you will be life enriched, as in working days you have to go to work and do some business. And if you want some times to do more involvement or personal leisure, you can choose some easy job to do.

I'm not a girls, so i can't say that what i prefer, to be a housewife or employed wife. but if I'm a a girl, i do like to be employed wife but of course, i don't prefer to be employed wife, if my husband are not like and he is always a nice person to me and my kids suffering for my job. its very important part for me to be a good wife and mom first. job is not much important then my family. job may bring some financial support and can make me self stand, but job can't make me in peace.
As a male, i don't like that my wife are employed one. i will happy when i see my wife will taking care myself, my family and my kids. i don't feel happy to see her earning, if she is careless to family. but i should have advice something to women,try get or find a life partner who support your choice both financially and emotionally.

It is difficult to participate in a gender specific discussion. Still in my opinion, I would like the girls to go for some jobs rather than a full time housewife.This will make them to stand on their on feet and make them self reliant and more confident.

Hello well I prefer being a house wife, I love to make food for my husbans and son, doing laindry, ironing and everything else that come with being a house wife. I reALLY ENJOY IT ..........REALLY i DO

I am a housewife and I personally think both has its
own pros and cons. It will be perfect if anyone can
live like one of my friend. She is one of the director
in her husband's company. She no need to go to the office
but was given a beautiful Honda CRV to drive. She has all
the time to herself and family. She just need to coordinate
the household chores and delegate it to the maid. She need
to fetch her only child to tuition and to school. She was paid
RM7000 dirrector's fees monthly and had hundred of thousands of dollars
in monthly employee contribution for retirement fund. She no need to worry
about money as she is considered working but without the 'work'. That's
terrific. For me I do have quality time with my son but I do
not have the luxury of 'money or income' to spend like her. I also do not have
the retirement fund for my old age. This is the setback. So, it is great if you have
plenty of savings or other means like rental income that can generate monthly income
to sustain expenses/ some luxuries and enjoy being full time housewife and mum.

You have rightly said that most girls would like to make their homes but then they need to use their education too and two income helps a lot in family finances. It is very difficult to make end meet on one income these days.. as far as I am concerend when i get married it would depend upon how much my husband is making. If he is making good money then i would want to look after the home and kids and take very good care of husband but if i have to work then i would and try to be very good wife and mother.
