do you have any sort of insurance?

I don't have any unemployment insurance. It means that when I am laid off from work, goodbye to the good old days. I don't have any protection except the protection from God. I believe that if those in the insurance companies are honest, then it would be worth to have the insurance for those we love when something happened and we are killed. Have a good day.

Insurance definitely helps unless something went wrong with your insurance company and you will end up a victim of a scam, but if everything is fine, I advice everyone to get insurance if they can specially health or property insurance atleast, for a small amount or premium, you can have a peace of mind of whatever happens in the future.

well, i currently have a term life insurance.. I've had it for more than a year now, and I'm really glad I made the choice of investing in one. It does not only assure me that I would have money when I need it. But if I die ( knock on wood ), my family would gain the benefits from it.. It does expire though when I'm 50.. and I plan to use it for my retirement age.. though that's still far from now cause I'm only 24.

i have insured our house from fire, typhoons and flood. i also have a car insurance which i found very useful as my son has had several accidents so far. it was good to have the insurance to answer for the damage of the car. i have my own life insurance and memorial plan, too. i have also enrolled my 3 children to a health care plan that takes charge of our medical consultation and hospitalization, if need be.

We don't have unemployment insurance in India, but car insurance, yes I do have comprehensive insurance for all my cars, for my home, mediclaim, my own life and the lives of my family are covered under life insurance.

The purpose of insurance is to mitigate, replace a loss, though life and love can't be replaced, the potential money that the dead person could have made were he/she alive could be paid to the surviving near and dear ones. Also endowment polices, though offering a lower yield than other asset classes are still a good investment option for savings for post retirement...

The advantages of insurance are many and it is one of the most important asset class component in any financial portfolio.

Hello indclub. I don't have unemployment insurance, but I have medical insurance and retirement insurance. I can only get my retirement insurance when I reach sixty. So it is a very difficult life if I get unemployed. But anyway, I am happy that I have a comparatively stable teaching job. Good luck with you, friend.
