Birthday Cake and Friends spreading it on your FACE.

In general, we don't cut cakes for our birthdays. We just go out, treat ourselves in a nice hotel and come back. I've had such a beautiful birthday when I was working in a BPO organization. In our organization, we celebrate birthdays every month and give gifts to those whose birthday falls on that particular month. It was a very nice experience cutting cakes before all your collegues and smearing cake all over the face, eating sweets and savories, etc. How is your birthday celebrated?

How are you? I hope you are happily settled in your new environment. Birthdays are celebrated in the normal ways here in a very comfortable party atmosphere amongst family. What you described here were those crazy ages during my college days. We usually celebrate birthdays in our dormitory and after blowing the candles on the cake someone will just come up and splash the cream on the cake all over the birthday girl's face. It makes the party merrier when the birthday girl ends up like a clown with everyone laughing and clapping.

I have a big cake on my birthday usually. But a little of the cake is eaten by us,most of it is applied over our faces. On fact, I don't like this,because it's wasting food.

Fortunately, I have no such experience, as my friends know I hate it. And I always celebrate my birthday just with my family or several closest friends who also don't like it.

But once I took part in a friend's birthday party, yes, they cut the cake into small pieces, then threw them to each other. I went outside to escape it. I really hate to dirty my hair and clothes by oily things, such as cake with cream!

I never had any birthday cake on my birthdays ever since. My parents did not care a bit to buy me cake ever since, I never celebrated my birthday with big party so I did not care to celebrate my birthday other than going to the church for thanksgiving to the Lord every year.

I don't like celebrations too especially if it is my birthday I hate hearing people greeting me. So some of them just text me or send me emails during my birthday.

well, until my college days i always happened to celebrate my bday with my parents and my sister..nvr had an experience of applying cakes on the face until then..however, i have experienced that too..thanx to my frnds.. when i was in my undergrad in a college provided accomodation, my bdays were always like awake until midnight..surprise party in frnds room..bday bumps and ofcourse lots of cakes on my face and all over the room then probably we all would have eaten..these r the most memorable days of my life...from then my bday was always celebrated like this..the only difference would be the venue and increase in the no of ppl to bash me conpared to its prevs yrs..

we usually have cakes, candles, balloons and invite friends. the usual stuff! spreading icing from the birthday cakes and running after your guest to put the icing on the face can be quiet fun! but careful though, as some may not like it.
