Do you keep your doors unlocked when you leave your house? |
|
I keep my doors locked when I leave home. I want to be safe than sorry later. I would never leave my doors unlocked. I live in a small town but I would not say it safe just becuase it is a small town. I do not want to be robbed and I do not want anything stolen from me. I never leave without locking my doors. Locking my doors in very important to me and the saftey of my house. I could not imagine what I would do if somone were to rob my house. I would have so much fear about leaving my house and staying there alone.

I would not feel comfortable later if I leave the house and missed one door not being checked. I do not want to be rob, or let us say robbed again. Since my house before was robbed before, distroyed the kitchen window and pass there. Now even my windows are already secured. I had a lot of fear during that time.

5. lelin1123 (4586) | 3 months ago | Yes I always lock my doors before I leave the house. However, you do that would not stop someone from breaking in if they really wanted to. My mom had her house broken in about 4 times. It was horrible. The house was ransacked and things were taken but I don't exactly remember what. This happened years ago. I'm thankful that I have a dog and the slightless noise he hears he will start to bark. So hopefully that would scare some burglars away.

6. peavey (3824) | 3 months ago | I'm kind of phobic about locking doors when I leave the house, but I know if someone wanted in badly enough, they could find a way in. When we lived in the country, I never locked the doors. As a matter of fact, we didn't even have a key to the doors. The front one was mostly locked because it was kind of loose in the frame otherwise and let in a lot of cold or hot air. I remember one of the kids locking the back door - the one we always used - just playing around when we were all outside one time and my husband had to crawl through a window to open it.

7. daliaj (2865) | 3 months ago | I won't take the risk of leaving my house unlocked when I leave. I always make sure that it is locked. Sometimes I even come back after starting from home to check if I have locked the door properly. I don't have an automatic lock for my door. I need to lock it with a lock and key. We have a security who takes care of all apartments in that area. But, I don't want to take risk by keeping the door open.
