Facebook or Orkut which is better?

I have been a member of facebook and orkut for a long time. But I use orkut more than facebook. Actually all my friends are in orkut. So I do not feel the need to check out facebook. Personally I like the pages of facebook. They are a lot cleaner and tidier than orkut, which is all jumbled up. Essentially both of them are the same, they are social networking sites.

Facebook is a social networking site, as well as twitter, Friendster, Myspace, and so on. At first, I really like facebook, because this site is very helpful, in my efforts to find old friends and make new friends network. Moreever, considering that facebook is popular and has a very extensive network, although later, twitter started to show a positive trend, which could threaten the existence of facebook. Later, I was not happy with facebook, since many members use facebook for personal purposes, which does not need to know the other members. I feel like a waste of time, be there.

i use facebook and i havent log in to orkut for a long time, i forgot my username and password and the email i used in that site... in facebook, i have fun there,interacting with friends and playing online games... i enjoy my time their in facebook than in orkut.

I've never heard of orkut before. I am a member of facebook, simply because most my friends are, and it's good for keeping track and even making new friends. you can talk to your friends, take quizzes and such.

Facebook is a social community site for making friends. This is also like orkut but popular in various countries. As orkut is closed to google.. so facebook having its own individual way of presence compared to all other social community sites.

Orkut is very famous like Mylot. But I think professional point of view Facebook is far far better than orkut. Most of visitors in facebook come from USA.

Perhaps besides Myspace and Hi5, Orkut and Facebook are most popular social networking sites. I have lot of friends in Orkut and I have registered myself in Facebook too. Both of them are nice but Orkut is lacks availability of some applications. When we talk about communities and groups, it works better on Orkut. On the other hand Facebook is more interactive and much easier to use than Orkut. I have huge number of friends in orkut so I hang up more often there than in Facebook.

i never know about orkut, i am a member of facebook, and facebook is the most popular around the world, so i think facebook is better than orkut.
