What's your favorite kind of cheese?

My favorite kins of cheese is baked cheese snacks i think or sharp cheddar.
I don't like american cheese for some reason. I used to when I was younger and sometimes on certain things I do like it.. I like Swiss cheese too but only certain brands....but cheese its are the best lol i like to put them on my sandwich as a replacement for real cheese.

Pepper jack has got to be my number one. I like it a little spicy..

The Land O Lakes American cheese is really good. My grandma used to get the government commodities and there was almost always a block of that cheese and sometimes they'd give it to my mom and I. After she passed away, we had to try to find it somewhere we could buy it. Finally found it in the Walmart deli case LOL

My favorite cheese are the sharp flavored ones - sharp cheddar, parmesan, romano, feta .... But I really just like cheese

I consider cheese to be one of God's most perfect foods, along with Mayonnaise.
I realize I'm in the minority, but that's OK with me - more for me.
I agree that American cheese is great; I especially like the "white" American cheese, sliced thin. Provolone and mozzarella serve their purpose in Italian cooking quite nicely. I like a medium cheddar a lot, particularly the Tillamook brand and I like it in Mexican cooking and as the backbone of a good macaroni and cheese. To which I add - asiago, fontina, parmesan, sometimes swiss. Havarti is a great cheese, too, mild, but you know it's there by its flavor.
I like the Colby version of cheddar, and buy a colby-jack that I also like for Mexican cooking, or just to eat.
My favorite goat cheese is the French boucheron, a good strong flavor and foil for pepper jelly. I like all of the blue cheeses, gorgonzola, etc. also for their salty and strong flavor. Feta is a mild cheese, available also marinated. I like the kind I get at a local farmer's market.
Of the "swiss" variety, I like gruyere and emmanthaler, especially for fondue and souffles. Gouda is great, too, as an eating cheese. I had a great cranberry cheddar at Whole Foods.
I've almost never met a cheese I didn't like.

I'm quite fond of Cheddar, Brie, Swiss, Monteray Jack, Laughing Cow assorted cheese.
Also, I like to cook with Mozarella and Ricotta cheese when making Italian dishes like Lasagne or pasta meals. Camemberg and Provolone is good too.
