News reading or News Watching?

for me therisingsun, I use both. News are important in our daily life. Without it, we would be out of place and might be in danger for we do not know what might happen in our society, community and in our world! Other reasons why I read and watch news is for me to know current issues involving the Government and all. But really, to answer your question, 70% News in TV is much better that News in the paper. Because I partly believe in "what you see is what you get" phrase hehehehe. cheers! good day:D

i like watching the news more. its a bit faster than the conventional newspaper. but i also have to admit that some of the news on tv are based on the newspaper. there are certain news that aren't shown on tv and there are more newspaper around, having more reporters.:) don't like reading though. so i still prefer watching news on TV.:)

I prefer both. I mean reading as well as watching. Sometimes you've to see it to believe it. Just written texts don't convince mind at all. Besides both text and video medium are corrupted. You've to spend some time with news in order to believe it. Both are good source for entertainment and knowledge. Channels like discovery, nat geo are god source of knowledge.

Some good newpaper like times, and other are worth to read for reviews and information. Sometimes both newpapers and tv are good source for humor. Some jokes in newspaper and tv are good. I like reading and watching, so i think i prefer both mediums have their importance.

yes what u said is true... it is becoming even more worse than ever before. the number of adds have increased with change in time..... we can depened on news for knowing the details in short duration.......................

I prefer watching news on tv rather than reading newspaper. On tv you can know all the news without getting bored and you can even see it live. It also doesn't add clutter to your house. You don't have to wait the next day for the latest news. Most of all you don't have to spend to know the news.

Its better to have them both. With news watching you can have the newest news within minutes. With newspaper you have to wait for a day to the news yet you can reread them especially if your time doesn't permit watching news.

I like to watch television news,because it is really convenient for the modern world,we can quickly get information from the television.

Nowadays, news first comes us from TV. The first thing I do after getting up is to turn on the TV and Morning News accompanies me with the busy morning chores. When anything really catches my eyes or ears, I would follow for the details from newsapapers, which come later.

TV news are vivid on screeen, but can hardly show great details and backup information, which can be accomplished by other media like newspapers. I cannot do without either.

I do both. I like reading the news online. It is faster and fresher. I also watch news on tv, especially the local news. Local news here come out in the newspapers the following day. Also worth mentioning is that I also listen to the radio for local news, especially if I hear the fireman's siren. I quickly turn on the radio to check where the fire is.

i love to read but if i am busy at my work, i have no time reading the newspaper so i just watch the late tv news and see whats happening around us. I just do the reading if i have a spare time. we should read or watch news because it is still important to know whats happening in your country. You will be able to know the latest news regarding politics, crimes, entertainment, etc. I believe that it is nonsense or kind a boring, if there's no news to talk about. Just my opinion. Good day.
