Who says sorry first?

In my marriage, when we argue, we get it out of our systems, take time to cool off and then apologize. I think we are pretty close as to who apologizes first because neither of us is afraid to admit it when we are wrong.

Very simple question with a simple answer. Just first discuss about that matter, analyze who is at the fault more. As when a fight happens, both are responsible, more or less. But saying sorry is not so important than important is to promise, promise not to repeat same kind of silly things again in future. With these commitments, its easy to make sure that the things will not be repeated in future.
But truly speaking, I always avoid fighting by judging that if fight is going to be resulted, I say sorry.

I will be the first to say sorry if I have done mistake but I will wait for some time may be 2 or 3 days for my person to say. If my love dint come forward I am sure I will go near and make her cool by saying sorry. Asking sorry first to your love is not at all a shame because when you are quicker to ask the bridge between the person is made closer. I think that getting soft to the other now and then make a healthy relationship and I never mind to ask sorry as my love is more important then my ego.

I usually say sorry first because I can't stand fighting! Unless my boyfriend did something to hurt my feelings, then I wait for him to talk or say sorry first. I have no problem admitting I'm wrong though so I odn't mind saying sorry, even if I wasn't in the wrong.

I`m always the one who says sorry between me and my bf whenever we quarrel. His the silent type so I`m always the one who wants to break the ice. It`s kind of unfair at my part for some point but I felt okay then once everything is settled between us so all ill feelings just disapears then.

I lost the love of my life six months ago through pride and criticism, take it from me I would do things differently now. If you want to know the answer to your own question then just answer this one. What's more important to you - being happy or being right?

I seem to want to end the tense atmosphere at the quickest possible moment even if it means to bend. SO I typically always say sorry first. That may not be the best thing to do in relationships but it really depends who the other person is that you are in the relationship with. Their personality triggers different reactions to certain things and that may not be the same reaction another person may display. In my case, if I apologize first, my husband always melts and realizes within himself that if he truly was at fault or not. Although he does have a hard time admitting it. But since I know he feels this way, it's a win-win situation for me. Whereas others may respond to the sense that they won and got me to say sorry and they were right. Not so with my relationship.

Hmm, I never thought that girl or boy must say sorry first. I think better if me and my bf don't talk or communicate in a short period of time, think about that problem and decide what to do. Sometimes, although I'm still angry, if he contact me I will answer and without mention the last fight, we can talk normally again. Better not to talk about that fight until you feel calm and after a week or so, talk about it nicely, I mean, just insert the conversation about the last fight in the middle of light chit-chat or phone call. After that, usually none of us (me and my bf) will say sorry, but we can understand each other and that's the end of the fight

The one who should say sorry is the one who understand, it doesn't matter if he is a boy or a girl. . .
