Who is your favorite character in the Star Wars films?  | |  Not the novels, for now. Just the characters from the films and this doesn't include animation/ films of the Clones Wars etc. Just the 6 blockbuster films.
Anyway onto the discussion.
My favorite heroes, would have to be R2-D2 because he's an awesome little droid that saves the day on many occasions, Master Yoda and Han Solo.
My favorite Villains would have to be Palpatine because of his sheer intelligence, and deviousness, as well as power, General Grievous--well he's an alien mixed with a droid/robot how kool is that. Count Dooku would probably be the third.

When he fell into the sarlaac pit that was it as far as George Lucas was concerned. But since he was so popular with fans, George started granting authors access to use him. | |

And he has a cool theme song wherever he went. It's like having an orchestra while he walks. I think he was the only one who had it. Having a voice like James Earl Jones' isn't bad either.

Swashbuckling reluctant hero that just wants whats due to him and he gets mixed up with all these "do-gooders" and falls in love with a princess and proves he has a heart of gold, and loyalty and self-preservation skills unmatched! Second would be R2-D2, he is amazingly full of personality for a "droid", he has more endearing qualities than humans! (C3PO makes me laugh)
For the villain, I think Darth Maul, just for the sheer terrifying facial menace and the ever slimy Jabba the Hut. His greed knows no bounds.

I would say my favorite would have to be Obi Won Kobi. I adimre him for his since of wisdom and moral foritude. he is like the moral compass in a world full of evil and corrurtion. Even at an old age his jedi knight stills are still as sharp as anyone who woulbe be half his age.
