Do you take sleeping pills? |
|
I don't, but I know someone who does. I think it's not really advisable to take sleeping pills all the time whenever you have difficulty of sleeping. It makes you become dependent on the substance. Do you take sleeping pills? WHat do you think about it?

2. mrfdg1972 (517) | 1 month ago | Yes i take sleeping pills but not often, i use it only when my sleep schedule is disrupted, and i don't take water in my room, i only enter it when i am about to sleep. so if ever i am thirsty i pass by the kitchen and drink before i go to bed. I can say more about the bed but you are only 22 years old most probably single. So that i will not go to another page, yes i will never forget when and why i was hospitalized, it was on the afternoon no December 10 1988, i crashed my motorcycle, i banged on a car, coz it suddenly turned left, and i was coming very fast around 80, I was thrown for like 10 meters, i have a broken shoulder and my right knee cap was very white, you could see the bone inside. I thought i got blind, coz i could not see for 15 min, everything was dark and very blurred, the doctor said that was due to the great impact, that the blood flowed mostly into the eyes, something like that.

3. vandana7 (1295) | 1 month ago | Hi nrtan, at times I do. When I am disturbed about something, it is a bit difficult to sleep, and then, I have no choice, like today. But it hardly helps. That is why I am sitting before the system.:(

Archie0 (3135) | 1 month ago | Sleeping pills rarely lead to any type of health benefit long term. They are intended for short term concerns, whereas it sounds you are having a long term issue. Over the counter sleeping pills will not improve your sleep cycles long term. See a Dr!

vandana7 (1295) | 1 month ago | Hi Archie, actually it is very rare. About once or twice in six months, when somebody hurts me, or I am unable to sleep because I remember something I should have done, and I forgot to do, and want to remember it and do it the following morning without fail.:) In yesterday's case, I'd promised one of my friends I would be visiting her, but I couldnt, and she was sick, so I was kind of feeling guilty because she has always been there for me.:) Do u think I still need to check with the doctor?

4. dorannmwin (1668) | 1 month ago | I take one quarter of one sleeping pill every night. The reason that I had to start taking them is because there was too much stress in my life and I was not able to sleep for more than an hour of time straight. They have helped me to try to get my life back on track and because I am taking so little, I don't think that I am in danger of becoming dependent on them. I am now somewhat able to sleep without them, although I do have a harder time falling asleep.

| 5. rockstar27 (92) | 1 month ago | No i have never taken sleeping pills in my life neither i am interest in taking them. They are not meant for daily usage and have side effects as well. Moreover if an overdose will be taken, then it might turn fatal.I just keep away from medicines and stuff as much possible.Because i am just 20 years old and i should not be taking all this stuff. And i advise others also not to take it as a way of getting a sound sleep. You can try many various methods available like listening to music, meditating or relaxing in hot bath!!TC:)

6. buping (540) | 1 month ago | hi nrtan, i do not need to take sleeping pills to help me to get to sleep, it is easy for me to go to sleep, i would be asleep in 10 minutes normally. if i am not easy to get to sleep, i do not think i will take sleeping pills to help me be asleep. you are right that we would be dependent on substances if taking the pills for a long time.
