If you're a mother, chances are... |

you have stretch marks. I know I do! I am pretty tiny and had almost an 8 lb baby, so my stomach looks like a zebra! And let's not even discuss my once-apon-a-time A-cups... Anyway, what's the best product for stretch marks? I've tried Bio Oil, Cocoa Butter, and Mederma. None have worked.:(
I've heard of a few others such as Beli and Boob Tube (which also is supposed to help with sagging or stretched skin). What products have you tried? Did they work?

| 1. funorb12 (60) | 3 months ago | I am a guy but I know my mother had stretch marks. Back when I though babies came out from being surgically removed from the stomach regions, I saw stretch marks on her belly. She said they operated her to get me out, and it was such a lie. I do not know any products to treat these scars, but I was just informing you. Have the best of luck, funorb12.

2. fmpisces (230) | 3 months ago | Hi iheartblogging.....
I wish I could help but really I can't as I am in the same situation as you. With the exception that I have given up on finding a product that will at the very least diminish their appearance or preferably get rid of them totally.
I didn't even know what a stretchmark was until I had my second son at 28. Only at about 30 weeks did I happen to question my GP about these strange red marks I had on my bump, and was surprised to find out I'd had stretch marks. They grew in number and size, and were very itchy for a time. Four years on and they're still there, but no way near as bad as they were, more silver-like.
I don't know about any products, I never tried any as my GP told me they'd fade with time but never totally disappear and she was right.
Sorry to not be of any help, but I totally understand what it's like as I'm sure so many women round the world are!
Fiona.

3. tonniek02 (229) | 3 months ago | Vitamen E will help to fade the stretch marks. rub the gel from the pill on the scares. Over time they will fade. It also helps with cramps. If you have cramps ever month. Try taking 800 to 1000 miligram of Vit. E a day. It will lessen and sometimes even stops you from getting cramps every month. I tried it and it work.

6. dracoserpintenes (255) | 3 months ago | when i got preagnant my biggest fear was the stretch marks because im 5'4 and 120 was the heaviest id been in my life till then i ended up gaining 50 pounds (the baby was 8.2) and the stretch marks began around the extra 40 and were lopsided because my baby would stick his feet in my ribs on one side and push his butt out on the other and boy did they itch they ended up on my hips down past my knees on my chest and ofcourse my belly. well its five months later and they have faded in color but im unhappy with the wrinkled look they have given my skin ive been thinking about trying a medical product on them but i have heard from many sources they usually dont work. my fiance told me one day that the caffiene in coffee grounds would tighten up the loose skin but ive felt wierd about trying that so far partially because i dont drink coffee and it seems a little odd to me that that would work. i think i will now though and give you an update when i see or dont see results.

7. jashoaf (227) | 3 months ago | I had three boys, all more than 8 pounds, and I am small - I weigh about 110 and always did. I used vitamin E - not products with Vitamin E in them, but pure vitamin E oil. Back then I bought the pills and sliced them open and squeezed out the oil. I have zero stretch marks, and am now in my fifties.
My daughter-in-law tried every product on the market and has terrible stretch marks. She wouldn't try the vitamin E as it is an old fashioned remedy. I can't tell you that it will definitely work, just that it worked for me. Good luck, and enjoy your baby!
