would you fight in front of your children?

It is not a healthy habit and it affects children pshychology, but in small houses such fights cannot be avoided. Most of the children, whcn they grow up deny marriage, due to bitter experience they had when their fought in front of them.

Fighting in front of children is setting them up for future disasters. It becomes a revolving wheel!

In the first place couples shouldn't be fighting - as in shouting, screaming, hitting etc. Nothing is ever resolved from attacking another person or their character. Yes, I know, we can't always agree with our other half but there are many calmer ways to resolve disagreements.

If the air is too thick both should just walk away and calm down. Name calling has never done anyone any good. Besides, if you are that stage it might be time to let go and move on! Anger makes people irrational so rather don't confront a problem when you are angry. Talk about the issue and try resolve it like civilized adults. Children will then realise that problems can be dealt with by talking about them instead of being violent.

Children are like sponges: they absorb everything in their environment so be careful what environment you put them in!

It is not a good example to your children if you fight in front of them. It is because the tendency is when they have their own family they will probably follow what they seen on their parents. I can suggest that when you have arguments with your partner better do it it inside your room and lock the door and that only you and your partner can hear what you are saying. It is not also good for children to hear bad words during your arguments because they will imitate them and it is not good for them saying also bad words to other children or people whenever they have a fight.

If I had kids, I would not fight in front of them with anybody. My grandparents fought (and continue to fight) in front of me and it has left some deep emotional scars. I would never want my kids' to go through what I did. They deserve a happy life. If we fight in front of our children, we are losing our future because children are the future!
