Do you take vitimins to try to stay healthy?

I always do. I take a multivitamins daily with much of vitamin E, vitamin B complex, Vitamin C and Iron. Much to that is that I also drink milk regularly once in the morning and one before bedtime.

I never take any vitimins as my dad used to take them and he found that he was putting too many of the same type into his body that made him ill.So i have never taken any neither would i ever take any.

sometimes when i am under stress or lack of food intake but as much as possible i do not take multivitamins just to stay healthy.i just ate the right foods and i also exercise.but i ate a lot of veggies and drinkmany fluids.

Yes I do take vitamins. Right now I am taking prenatal vitamins that are helping me keep my iron levels maintained. Before I got pregnant I took a regular multivitamin. I also like to take ginseng, vitamin B and calcium.

Yes, I take vitamin C, B12, folic acid and vitamin D in the winter because of the lack of sunshine. I do not take fish oil capsules as I eat plenty of oily fish several times a week. I believe it is always better to get vitamins and minerals from food and sunshine (D) than to take supplements. - Derek

i don't take vitamins,i think it's a waste of time and money,my mum took them for years and she's had no end of health problems and stuff,if you eat right you don't need supplements

I take many more plus what you take. You might want to consider Flax Seed Oil(liquid or capsules), it is very good for the heart. I also take amino acids and have protein drinks every day.

hi caroll30 I also take calcium with vitamin d and baby aspirin and iron as I am anemic. the rest of the vitamins
I try to get through proper nutrition by eating lots of fruits
and vegetables, lean meat, whole grains, and lo fat milk.
I also take a multivitamin too. and get some exercise
and some sunlight too. also laugh a few minutes every day'for good mental health.

Since I have lupus, I take vitamin C to help boost my immune system. Lupus is like aids except it's not contagious so basically I have no immune system so the vitamin C helps fight off infections and other types of bacteria that may be lurking in the air. Plus it's one of the main reasons I hate going outside of my home, because I don't want to get sick, especially at this time of the year.
