What would be your new laptop?

Wow! I have not any good feedback from any HP customer till now. This is first time someone is saying for HP. You have also talked about printers, desktops and you have said that you have not got any problem? its amazing! My IBM R51 had went through COMBO replacement 7-8 times, LCD replacement 2-3 times, Motherboard replacement 2-3 times in 4 years. I was lucky that I was having 3 years warranty on my laptop otherwise I would gone mad till now. Anyway thanks for sharing your story. God bless

You need to read message from HP customer care- bit.ly/foGEX . It seems that it has hardware issue in the dv6000 laptops earlier. I hope your model is new without any issues, as you are already talking about. Thanks and God bless

Saurabh you are quite right about HP. The first printer, scanner and copier of HP which I purchased, broke after exactly one year. Even though I once again bought a HP printer, the only reason, I purchased it was I got a discount coupon from ebay, and I got a good deal on it.

I always love the "old" models of laptops. As of now, I am actually using an ASUS old-looking laptop and it is still good. Its processor is still Intel Celeron.

I have checked packard bell products on its website. Design of these laptops is really amazing. These are really small and compact. I have not seen these kind of designs before. It is also not an HP product. This company is operating since 1926 with radio products etc. Thanks for sharing this information. God bless

Thanks for your reply. I tried to find blogs and user reviews of Acer 4736 model. People are using it for around 4 months and it is working fine for them. Considering price factor it is also good budget laptop. Only factor to consider is that there is huge space between keyboard keys and bottom. So what about dust and other little particles accumulating there? How could I remove them? Thanks and God bless

What is weight of your laptop? I do not think weight of any laptop is more then 3 kg . What is your model, is it travel mate? Travel mate has hard body to withstand any pressure and in that case it is a bonus point . Anyway my laptop's weight is 3 kg and I am in bit habit of shoulder pains. My laptop is an Acer aspire 5920 with a 15 inch screen. I am not very sure about the correct weight, but it is quite heavy to carry. I found that a 14 inch Lenovo is quite light weight.

I know MAC is good. My friend have it and using it for around 3 years. It is working fine but truly speaking their price is just double then normal laptop and at this time I do not have big money.Thanks

I have not heard of gateways earlier. So, I will be only discussing about Toshiba. Actually, shopkeeper has also recommended me Toshiba. He said me that Toshiba manufactures all parts by itself but others assemble after imports that is why problem is occuring in other laptops. I do not know whether he is saying it right or wrong? I checked its model M900, M510 and L500 on its website and found out that their configuration is really great and they are also under $650. They are also coming with windows 7. Actually, I forgot t mention earlier that my senior is also using Toshiba since 4 years and it is working fine till now but I do not know its model number as I lost their contact after completion of my graduation. i am using Hp pavilion dv6700 notebook pc,window vista home premium,AMD turion(tm)64*2 mobile technology TL-58 1.90 GHz,1 gb ram,160 gb hard disk.

Dell studio is great. I know people using it since 1 year and that are working fine. Actually, my friend has some kind of bad luck as we earlier thought it has RAM problem and we get it replaced but it was not RAM problem, it was either DVD's or writers problem. DELL service is really good, I appreciate its on the home service support. I was actually planning to buy DELL last week but when my brother saw it, he immediately stopped me as it has week keyboards against SONY which my brother is using. Thanks
