A quick question, the sequel |
| |
| I asked a question about site meters the other day and now I have another one. Hypothetical, I must make that clear. Say you could install a gadget on your page that was hidden, and this gadget not only told you who had visied your page, but also what actions the visitor had carried out, would you install it. For instance, if this gadget showed who had rated you and on which discussions and posts, would you be interested. As I understand it, our rating may well have a bearing on what we earn, so if perfectly good posts are being negatively rated wouldnt you want to know? These unfair negative ratings could well be costing you money!!!! Also, if this gadget showed the same small group of users negging exactly the same discussions - would you agree with me that the duty of the person with the gadget would be to inform Mylot admin and provide proof by means of the data report the gadget collects, and help improve Mylot by ridding us of these clicks and make the rating system a level playing field. Would Mylot terminate any users found abusing the system in this manner, I think they would!!! But does such a gadget exist, that my friends is the question, I think it does !!!, what do you think? Remember, its Hypothetical. | | | | | |

| | I know Mylot say the system cannot be abused, but methinks thats wishful thinking, and a far more knowledgeable person than I am suggested it would be naive of me not to think its happening, People who hit that neg button do indeed influence what we get paid, Do you think such a gadget exists, I think it does, I know, I said that already. | | | |

| | Trackers do what they say on the tin, and I think it depends on the particular tin!!! Do you think its fair that you should earn less than someone with a nine or 10 star for the same input, because I sure as hell dont. I will bust through the 10 dollar barrier when I log on tomorrow at earnings update, but I cant help but wonder what I might have as a money balance, "sigh" | | | |

| | Seems to me that a program installed on the profile page wouldn't be able to tell anything about how people rated your posts, but could theoretically tell you if they visited any of your posts from links on your activity sortie. | | | |

| | I thought that as well, Thats why Hypothetical played a big part I was hoping someone really techy like some of these Indian guys would come along and explain it They are great, my husbands bank has a call center in India, he phoned one night Realised it was in India, and got the bank guy to help him with a router problem!! | | | |
