man and woman platonlc friendship???

that there is friction between the two and that romantic feelings and sexual attraction are bound to creep-in between

so does that mean then that every woman who is in his life he has romantic feelings for or is sexually attracted to??? I doubt it.....

I have ALWAYS had several male friends and there has NEVER BEEN any sexual or romatic attraction....these guys are my buds and like brothers to me end of story..

a man and a woman can have a plantonic relationship. most of my best buds are male and i never fell in love with them. they are just like my brothers and they treat me like a sister. but i guess this is just from a females point of view. because from a man's point of view, there is always the possibility of falling for the said "friend". but speaking from my experience, it is definitely possible.

I believe it's possible to be just friends, apart form the occasional drunken snog.
even though a lot of my friends end up together, it has more to do with them knowing each other for a long time then actual attraction.

I don't see anything wrong in having male friends even if one is in total confine of a secured marriage. Marriage should not make us the property of our spouse and neither should we surrender our individual rights. I can't say of where friendship with the opposite gender might lead us but if everything is running well in the home front there is no reason to go astray.

I believe there can be true friendship between men and women. But both parties must be there to keep it as pure friendship. Its true we don't have much control about the way we think or feelings creep in. But true friendship can be there.

I use to think that men and women could be just friends with no sexual attraction but life in my case has proven me wrong, with long association any man can become attractive in a sexual way and with men these seems to be even more true.

Hi riyasam, from a woman's perspective - yes. U can have beautiful platonic friendships, and they are very long lasting. Somebody who can find instant quick fix to any problem that u might otherwise be having with ur romantic partner.
