 Living alone seemed to be the hardest part of being single. Sometimes I crave for that someone that I can share my dreams, my plans, my worries. I wish for someone to talk to when I get home or before I leave for work. But somehow, I can't get out of my past which made me lose trust in anyone who shows interest in me. When I was a kid, I've always wanted to have my own family, to build my dreams around them. But I'm almost 30 and yet still not sure where this life will lead me. It is confusing and difficult as I don't want people to think that I'm not happy at all. I realized its not easy to always pretend but I also know I won't be able to handle it if my friends or family starts asking questions. I wish I knew what the future holds for me. For now, all I can do was to keep praying and trusting God that He will show me what I'm meant to do here on earth before my time is up.

3. SZapor (14)  | 3 months ago | I feel your hurt in this, and I think a larger majority of people are in this same boat than you might think. A lot of times I wonder if I am the only one who is living on my own, going to school, moved away from my friends and family, and financially trying to balance what seems like a million dollars in bills a month on a very limited income. It's tough - life isn't always a lemony place. But I can guarantee you that you are better off doing what you're doing and waiting for the right person to come along, whom you can trust, rather than being stuck in a dead-end relationship. I would rather be alone and occasionally sad about it, than with someone who treats me less than what I am deserving of and constantly upset about it. Stay positive, you're doing the right thing by praying and trusting that God will show you where you're meant to be. In fact, he's doing it right now - and you're meant to be on your own at this point in time. To grow, to learn, to let go. He is telling you that you need to work through your trust issues. God doesn't want you to be with someone who you will struggle staying with because you are unable to trust him/her (not sure of your gender.) Best of luck and chin up, it will all work out for you. But please, start working on your trust issues! Let the wall down! | |

And everything will fall into the right place when it's time. It just doesn't make sense right now, but one day, it will. DAVENPORT7O7 (7) | 3 months ago | Sounds like you just need that push, you have a job but is it your career? your almost 30 wish i could say that try divorced 3 kids and 3 dogs 1 cat and 3 chickens feels like I live at the zoo sometime I could go for one of you quite days, life is what you make it., get out there find what your good out and go for it, sounds like your a god fearing person, your single want to see the world get out a mission trip get involved, i learned this along time ago that god sometime just gives suddle hints not that big boom your looking for and then its gone... enjoy life you don't have any thing that hold you down the perfect time for a mission trip or to get really involved into church so much to offer in church, just a suggestion., life is to live so go do it! Have fun, enjoy it and be safe!

I would suggest though, that you need to be more proactive in looking for someone, they arent just going to come along and find you one day. You need to try to trust people, you are going to have to someday else you will just end up pushing any partner away. I think you have to risk getting that trust broken to form the sort of relationship you want.
