when will the pain go away? |
|
Acceptance is one sure thing that will make everything a bit or totally okey. Bot how would the mind command the heart to stop the pain....I understand the pain of loss is so much so much pain...and yet why is it so hard for everyone to tell the heart to stop loving....loving is one sure beautiful feeling....but when love is gone will the pain go away? Easier for the one leaving but when will it go away for the one being left behind....

The pain of the heart will not be easily healed and it will make the mind heywire thinking of the lost love and the feeling of suicidal is always haunting the person left behind. We are no specialist in mending a broken heart but the only consolation that we can give a person in dilemma is to let her talk it out and cry it out so she can be partially relieved of her pain. Go out and socialize and meet new people.

2. spalladino (8988) | 1 month ago | My husband lost his wife to cancer after 32 years of marriage and the pain he felt was terrible. He was sure he would always carry it with him and would never smile or feel happiness again. But, time heals the hurts that life inflicts on us. He wasn't very happy when we met but meeting me, getting to know each other and falling in love helped to lessen his pain. It's been several years now and sometimes he still feels sad but usually when he talks about the old days, he talks about the good times now.

1) To find someone to talk about your feeling of loss (e.g. family members or best frinds) and find healthy way to cope with the loss (e.g. listening to music, exercise, develop your hobbies etc)
2) To find ways to remember the loss (e.g. photo album, write letter to the loss to finish the unfinish business etc.)as it facilitates the griefing process.
3) To look for help if you are too overwhelmed by your emotion. You can look for help from professional e.g. doctor, counsellor or social worker. It is alright to get help when you need it.
4) Pray for God's help in the healing process.
Regards
Sylvia Mak

It sounds like you are hurting after someone left you. I wonder if you have children since you are in the parenting section. If you do have children try to put a smile on your face as best you can so as not to affect them too much with this. Best wishes to a speedy recovery from your loss.

5. Bluepatch (2456) | 1 month ago | I know this only too well. I lost a dear love of mine just a couple months ago and the feelings have not gone as yet. I still see her here and there and every time I see her she just comes back to me in such a certain way that its so unbelievable. I guess this thing we call love is just one way this and one way that. When you have it its so lovely and enhancing. When you lose it its such a horror. Life's like that, as they used to say in the old Reader's Digest.

7. buping (546) | 1 month ago | well, pain always can not be avoided and it can not be in control. i know how it pains to lose one love. so a good way to less pain is that try to be kind to your love. when he goes way someday, we would feel less regret. and a friend has ever told me that view today as the last day you have, so you would have an optimistic attitude towards your friends and your self.
