There are a lot more humans on land than in the seas so your chance of getting killed on land by another human (either accidentally or on purpose) is a lot greater than by any animals living in the ocean. This is not to mention many other land living animals.

You just need to be aware of where you are, weather you are in shark territory or not or if there are other dangerous animals that might be around where you intend to go swimming.. Same as you go prepared to go into the woods or anywhere else and know the types of animals that you might encounter. But I still say that you have to watch other humans more carefully than yo do most other animals. | |
